Guys got to thinking while reading "Help needed on Dynamic Signature Cards" would you be interested to do a knowledge share on each series, i can list the basic information and then people can add anything to it, ie for the 2000 series it seems #43 Brett Kimmorley from the base set is much more rare than the other base cards.

Am happy to list 1 series per day / week, start off with Select 2000, can do all select then do Scanlen series etc...

You can add anything that you think people would be interested in case cards, error cards, promos, anything....

Here is the story of the Brett Kimmorley Card.

As you know cards are produced in sheets. While still with the printer something fell on the corner of the piled up sheets and took out a significant chunk of the Brett Kimmorley cards produced. Select did not bother getting the printer to re-run them.

There you go, have always wondered why, now i know...

Just to elaborate further on that story, i was in a collectors shop in Newcastle that was around briefly in 2000 and happened to be there one day when a guy from Select come in. He told us that they lost a pallet of them. I would be thinking that a pallet would be at least 1000 when you think about it height wise. The story was that something heavy fell right on the corner and damaged them all. I remember him telling me to collect it as it would be rare one day. I am sitting on 4 spare but I assume now he meant rare by rarecollectables standards.........

I can confim that the brett kimmorley card is on the bottom corner as I have an uncut sheet of 2000 select cards.
