Just got a knock at the door and a parcel, figured ah finally after 2 months then realized it was for a Street over.
Makes me wonder who's wearing my shorts :)

Re: Postie Fail

I bought a pair of shorts for hockey months ago, I got a full refund from the seller who was really nice about it though. Figured if they turned up I would repay him but so far zilch. They were coming from Queensland so you'd think it shouldn't take more than 2 months to get here.

By the way Matt, love the "All aboard the Mavs bus!" :)

Re: Postie Fail

Umm!, can I request a change of title. Was trying to work out what I had failed at:whistle::lol:

and before all the wise cracks start give yourself one of these:yellow:

Is that better Garth?

It just makes me wonder how many times he's done that and doesn't make me very confident :-k

A little better, however may I suggest

The a-hole that is meant to deliver my mail has no f'n idea

are you a postie? im not sure i wouldve picked a name that could so often be mistaken for the horror that is aus-post.
ive gotten mail for the street next to mine (same number) a couple of times. once it was wrapped with a semi-large mail day i had and i opened it by accident. lucky my 'neighbour' was just happy to get the item.

No, my surname is Post, so have always been called Postie at school and at work.

The request to change the title was more a joke than anything serious. I must be getting bored.

I can relate to the boredom, hence the original post..that and I was pretty peeved.
I am bored to tears right now, wish I had a box of something to bust open  I'm practically hitting the refresh button on a few pages..so so sad.

I'm so bored that I'm pissed already, on Malibu & coke  first time for everything. and playing poker. Kids went back to their mum yesterday and I've got time to kill until Uni starts :kick: but really

I reckon you should head over to where the parcel was meant to be delivered and see if anyone there is wearing your shorts. Perhaps some cute daughter of a wine maker who had made a pair of cut-offs out them. Hey I know your married but hell it should stop the boredom

reply for Carl to check since he is bored......

Thanks mate you've brought some sunshine into my life :)

Thats not a bad idea, there was a cute girl around the corner the other day..she was even washing her car in cut-off jeans :D

Sometimes I wish there was an over 18 section on this forum, lets just say a reply or the reply I would like to give would probably get me a holiday from the site.

Did you offer to help or where the words of you lovely wife still fresh in your head.

You wouldn't know what to do with her even if she was interested

Well honestly in the interest of keeping things PG I didn't put what I actually wanted to in my sig..which was along the lines of "looking for cheap (Jennings initials)"
