Oi! Crownies rock...better than that crappy SA Beer
Ah, i now have proof you have no idea whatsoever about beer matty...crownies are dog piss...mutton dressed as lamb. Its an undeniable fact that SA makes the best beer in the country (and indeed some of the best in the world)!

Indeed, Coopers Sparkling won the best beer in the world title this year
Personally I prefer Pale Ale, IMO the best beer in the country.
Crownies aren't crap, but they're nothing special either.

Other than my own Homebrew (which is by far the worlds best beer!!)...anything other than a CUB product is good beer!!
I have proof that CUB milk the urine from cats to make their beers....VB and Carlton Cold in particular.
Also if you drink Coopers (or my homebrew or any bottle-conditioned beer) you are a lot less likely to get a hangover the next day. It's not the alcohol that makes you feel crook....it's all the chemicals they (CUB and most commercial brewerys) put in the "beer".

I'm an assistant manager of a Safeway Liquor dept, and the amount of people that wax lyrical about Crownies, for gods sake it is beer, and your willing to pay almost double the amount of $ for it compared to VB or Carlton Draught. I recommend them Casade or Coopers, which is awesome!, or if they have even more money to burn, an imported beer, such as Corona, Sol or even a slab of Guinness...
I act disinterested toward these people (or "rude" and "unprofessional", as according to my boss) because they are tools, who are more caught up in the "premium" aspect, looking good at a party or mass goat slaying, what ever young people do these days...

Mate recommend Asahi Super Dry if you've got it....it's one of the best commercial beers out there.
And you're right about Crownies....they are made exactly the same as Fosters Lager, the only difference is that Crownies are "lagered" (or refrigerated) for longer (about 2 weeks) thus enhancing the "smoothness".
It's all about marketing....some people are suckers for bottles that look different.:roll:
just dont be too rude too often gerco, otherwise you might end up like me when i worked at KMart and was banished permanently to the loading dock for my attitude towards "annoying" customers 
And i didnt say Crownies were worth paying double over VB or Carlton, i said its not crap as JZA and others were saying...i will still buy a slab of Carlton Draught over any beer for price AND taste

Yeah, as backward as people claim us gippslanders are, lol, the people in sunbury, god damn, there are in the stone age, recommending an asian beer would not go down well with them, they would probably call me a communist or a witch... some of the best beers (in my humble opinon) such as Guinness, Tiger Beer, even coopers sit there all day, while the damn goon casks and cheap ass mixed cans fly off the shelfs... idiots

The strange thing is im rude to everybody from the night time manager to the 15yr old assistants (i actually "constantly threatened them with acts of physical violence unless the leave me alone"[-X according to my last conversation with the store manager) and they insist that i converse with the customers. Its amazing, this is the 3rd assistant manager job ive been given (i quit the 1st and am now being promoted from the 2nd) and each time I have to spend more time with the customers

It sounds like something from the movie Office Space....they gave the promotion to the one person in the office who didn't give a crap about anything..."He's management material"!!!
