Bulls v Heat 2011 Playoffs Eastern Final Thread **SPOILERS INSIDE**

With the way they have come together in the off season I can't see much change. A fit Miller and Haslem helps a lot. Maybe a bit more depth, but wouldn't expect anything major. Maybe a new defensive C. Seems as if Bargnani wants to leave Toronto and go somewhere with a warm climate........ hint hint.

A rotation that features an 100% Miller (e.g. playing at a level like today) and Haslem (e.g. playing at a level like Game 2) already makes this team at least 20% better. And without them they had already gotten to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Add in probably Sam Dalembert this off-season for added size, length and shot-blocking (as well as the ability to clean up around the basket off offensive boards, tip-ins etc) and the team looks pretty good going into next year. We've also got Dexter Pittman coming up, a rookie who would have played significant minutes if he wasn't playing for a contending team. He's 7 foot and explosive around the basket, very strong. It's likely that Magloire, Z and Dampier are all gone, all could potentially retire after this season. We've also got a draft pick at #31, I'm hoping we pick up a back up point guard with that pick.

Interested to see what the new CBA stuff results in. If there are no more exceptions, e.g. mid-level, that could mean this team won't significantly better. That's not necessarily a worry though considering as we're 1 game away from the Finals and so far, haven't dropped more than 1 game in any playoff series.

^Heat should have never let Da'Sean Butler go. He is gonna be an absolute stud for the Spurs next year.

I know. When I saw that I was spewing. The guy is a combo guard who can do it all. Like a black Mike Miller ;)

But yeah.. I was spewing. It's not like we couldn't have cut Magloire or Juwan Howard.. I mean seriously. We need something for the future. That's why I'm praying it works out with Dexter!

I do hope you're not suggesting Bargs as a Defensive C...

That's what I was going to say in the post but I forgot!

Bargnani can go somewhere else. Since Pat Riley came in the mid 90's the Heat have been known as a tough team, a defensive-minded team and a physical team. We're already nearing the border-line enough with Bosh, we don't want Bargnani. He's the softest big man in the league, plus he must be close to setting a record for the measliest rebounding average for a full-time starting center who measures in a 7 feet.

What'd he average this past season? Like 5 boards or something. Disgraceful. He can stay away thanks, if we want a shooting big we'll get Troy Murphy (he'll fall in line after realizing the mistake he made by going to the Celtics). At least he can rebound.

Dang. I thought the Bulls had it at the end of the fourth. Would have been great 2-2, but 3-1, hmmm, I don't see a come back for the Bulls.

Would've loved to see 2-2, I think the bulls will get the next game though and hopefully push a game 6. Would make for some tense moments for sure. Kyle Korver has been flat out struggling in this series.

That dunk was completely nuts! I nearly got up off the couch when he did that today! WOW!

And now all I can think is, why wouldn't he have attacked the rim like that in the last 8 seconds of regulation...even if he didn't score, he could have kicked it out or drawn a foul or...ahhhh I gotta get over it

That was a ridiculously good game! Miami Heat bench stepped up with Mike Miller doing some massive hits. Even Chicago played superbly except for Rose. James did a really good job defensively on him on a few possessions and he was forced to alter the release and trajectory just to get a shot off quickly. The Bulls were right there but just fell apart a bit with the unforced turnovers in OT. I got goose bumps with the finish by the Heat though, clutch shot by Wade, Bosh and Lebron and then the defensive intensity by the team to seal it! So so good a victory!

What FINAL it's gonna be:

MIAMI -Vs- DALLAS
Repeat of the '96 Finals!

Two old veterans will meet again:
J. Kidd -Vs- J. Howard
just like in the old days 90's
:D

Its funny how all the Heat haters are already saying that Miami cant stop Dirk. The questions should be how are Dallas gonna stop LBJ, DWade, Bosh and (unbelievably) Mike Miller.

Im calling Heat in 6. It should be a great series to watch.

GTFO of this thread with the Miami vs Dallas sh!t already! Wait until/IF there is a thread created for it... until then

STAY THE FK OUT OF THE BULLS VS MIAMI THREAD WITH THAT BULL****!!!!!!
