Few decent cards in this lot but will start off with the normal lowish end garden variety stuff....

Up first one for the Court Kings Boxtopper chase... Bob Cousy /349. Another 2 incoming so that'll get me to exactly halfway. Incidentally there was bad blood between the Big O and Bob Cousy when he came out of retirment to become a player coach. The bad blood between the two resulted in Oscar's trade to Milwaukee and the Championship...

Don't know who this bloke is or what he happened to achieve - his UNC teams had a pretty average record as far as I can see! But check out the nickname - Skippy W! Just had to have it!

The following Celtic gems are from Shane (evilhomer) - cracking cards!

Pistol Pete Maravich - Elevation Relics #75/79 - my only decent card of this guy, think an auto is well out of my range so this is a nice addition! Trying to get at least a GU or auto of each of the top 50 of all time

I'm a sucker for a good inscription.....

Paul Pierce Contemporary Caption - 'Celtic Pride'. Sick looking card, Topps really pulled out some top shelf stuff when they really put their mind to it! Understated and classy look.

Bill Walton Inkcredible Inkscriptions #68/100 - 'Celtics Champs '86' Think i mentioned that fact in my last mailday thread too! Big sig and big inscription - killer card!

The Bird PC has been a bit quiet of late - but was stoked to come across this gem!

Bird / Parish Trilogy 1-2 Combo Dual Auto
Big fan of acetate cards, on card autos and of course the kick ass unbridled Larry Bird sig - probably the nicest Bird sig I've seen - big, well centred and a real attention getter! Numbered 44/50 too... Definitely cracked top 5 in the PC!

So what tops a Larry Bird auto?

How about a Larry Bird Chrome Refractor Auto #11/20?

It's a real little GEM!

Thanks for looking folks, comments always appreciated. Nothing big due anytime soon but making some progress on a couple of set chases!

love the bob coust box topper , i was lucky to pick up the auto of it!! also love the bird/parish sweeet

The combo auto is a very pretty card.

Do you have a list of what you need left? People may be able to help find them for you here on the forums.

Once again Skip you managed to provide a quality mailday. I have a feeling you will be like a kid in a candy shop at the National.

Nice bunch of Celtics stuff there Skip, although seeing Pistol Pete all gaunt makes me sad.

That was his last year in the NBA with the Celtics - didn't think he looked too gaunt. He had a congenital heart defect and he was actually playing pick up basketball to the very end. For those not familiar with Pistol Pete he was considered one of the finest offensive players in the league - averaged over 44ppg in his 4 year college career!

Wow, you really dropped it on us with this mailday .. awesome stuff mate.
Really love the Bird/parish dual auto

Cheers Mark - think that dual auto has moved into the top 3 since posting! Can't stop looking at it!

Was thinking about going for the auto set but the SP cards and big names involved just meant it wasn't going to be a practical option for me, but in any case the normal boxtoppers are proving difficult enough to come by!

Great pickups, pity bout the Celtics but can't go wrong with the players! :p

I'm actually more a Clippers and Nets guy but more partial to the Celtics than the Lakers - and of course Larry Legend...

The combo auto is a very pretty card.

I'm just picking up random stuff as it comes along of the top 50 players - it's not a goal to have completed anytime soon. Would have most of the names by now anyway - one big notable omission is Sir Charles!

Awesome mailday!!!!!

Cheers mate - I think $ spent is in proprotion to the awesomeness of one's mailday!

Love them all !!! congrats on picking them up

Thanks mate, if you get any of the stuff in your store that I might be interested in let me know!

Might only be there for a day or two Garth - places to go - people to see! Sure I'll be back for more once I get a taste for it though!

real nice love the birds

I see somebody else appreciates Chrome Auto Refractors! heh heh Great cards in hand!

A couple of hot looking Birds there Skip!

That is one green mailday! Sweet Maravich GU too, nicely done!

Cheers Tom - not quite Bieber - but I'm happy with it! heh heh ;-)

..and that my friend is why he's a notable omission! :-P

Well Brad just so you know hot looking birds and I go together like er, well, um, to be honest.......oil and water! lol Larry may be a legend but he's far from the best looking bloke around too!

Superb mailday skip - congrats!!!

Cheers Shrimpy - Bird PC was getting neglected so decided to give it a boost!

Looks like you picked up a few nice cards there, Skip.

Cheers Funky! Too bad about the Crows today but on the bright side welcome to OCT! If you're looking for a sig I'm pretty sure there's a dedicated thread for it - if you can't find it Tom12 is good kid who helps lots of people out!

Very nice additions there Mr Skip, i really like the Contemporary auto and that Bird refractor is just nuts :kick:
