Of all my time on ebay I've never had a item not received case and this is the first one where paypal obviously decided in favour of the buyer because they didn't opt for the registered post option, only standard post. Obviously hurts to lose the card and now the $$ too and now changes my outlook on what to do on ebay should I sell cards to those countries etc etc




Could be the postal system but if you see #49/50 PMG let me know!

I am with Terry here, anything over $50 goes registered. I only charge $15 so have to pay $5 myself but stops this from happening.

Bad luck on losing the $$ though as well on the card.
 
all mails to China including Macau needs to be registered. seen to many cases of lost mails to China/Macau in the past. Treat this as an expensive experience learned.
 
Cheers for the heads up Matt... Sucks, also notice a bit of 'non-receival' feedback from his sales.. looks like he might like to wrought postage both ways :(
 
Cheers for the feedback guys, will definitely be modifying my excluded locations or compulsory postage charge. Also looks like I am about to get another non received claim from the Philippines so may have more cards to add to the list. Never had this trouble before, can't believe it.

Hope not another card missing.
How many days have gone since you post the card to the Philippines? I was sending an iphone cable (sample bubble wrap standard post) to my Mom last Feb and she received it after almost 4 weeks. Just hope that the card was not lost just delayed.
 
Damn, there seems to be a heap of these mugs on ebay lately.
As has been said registered post or nothing if its going overseas especially china, i've had a couple issues myself from there in the past few months.

Hope it pops up again

Yeah more Garnett cards.

And yes I believe more likely delayed due to the slow postal system over there than lost at the moment. The first buyer opened the case after 3 weeks, I had a member here, Lemu from Philippines who received cards after about 4 weeks and tried to explain this but the buyer just let the case run.

The second case now is about 4-5 weeks. Brutally slow post and the 45 days to lodge a paypal claim doesn't help either. Frustrating!
