Re: Bulls v Heati 2011 Playoffs Eastern Final Thread **SPOILERS INSIDE**

Miami. They're on fire at the moment and proving their haters so so wrong

Well should be a cracker of a series......Wade/Lebron up against the MVP......WoW....Ill def be watching this one!!!!Bulls for mine...in maybe 6.....

i can't believe people are picking the bulls here, seriously. atlanta are good but chickenfeed compared to the celtics. heat to flex its muscles in 6

Heat in 6. I think it's going to be an ugly series though.

Bulls swept season series 3-0 but if I'm not mistaken wins were by 1, 2 and 4 points. Heat in the regular season are not indicative of them now either.

Besides, Boston won the season series 3-1 against the Heat and nobody, I mean nobody, expected the Heat to handle them in 5 games.

why not? Bulls bet them in the regular season 3-0.

If you look at most the games the Bulls lost in regular reason they were to crap teams. They seem to play better with great teams. So maybe they worked out how to defend Miami.

Maturity level and pressure of being in a finals since jordan era will determine if Bulls can win this one.

Regular season series meant nothing right now. This is the play-offs. The only way the Bulls would win this series is if either Wade or Lebron gets injured. Other than that, I don't think their chances are good at all.

But we'll see. For sure this is a better match-up for the Heat than the Celtics. Thats my opinion. The Celtics were fading at the end of the regular season as well as the Spurs and I think the Lakers were also inconsistent in the last couple of weeks of the regular season.

But the Heat and the Bulls just kept winning to get the highest seed possible which made them used to winning. And there would be no excuses for both teams if they lose unless one of their stars gets injured.

Come on Gary.... a month ago people were bagging the sh!t out of the Heat and now suddenly they are unstoppable??/ Pffffft, please. Chicago HAS the best defense in the League. We have the MVP, Boozer is starting to play well again as is Noah, Deng bought it back to the table today and our Bench Mob sh!ts all over Miami's.......

It's going to be a crazy series IMO, and it could get ugly like Jimbo said, considering you have 2 really good teams at both ends of the court and they'll grind games out against each other. But on the other hand if the main scorers for both teams turn it on at the same time we could get some excellent Basketball!

I can't believe people are expecting Miami to walk all over Chitown! Also, IMO, Chicago are probably a season ahead of themselves! Even with Boozer, how many people would have picked them to get the Best record in the League and get to the ECF's even half way through the season????

I hope everyone write's Chicago off, will lift a weight of sorts of their shoulders and make it that much better IF they beat Miami.

well said this is why I said I think maturity will play a big part.If Bulls have grown enough and believe they can win they will. If not they wont.

Actually if you look at the stats of the playoffs exclusively, the Heat and Bulls have pretty much an identical defensive rating, and the Heat have a better offensive rating by a few points.

The Heat have only dropped 2 games in the playoffs and have had a harder road thus far than the Bulls. It has to be worrying that the Bulls played so poorly against Indiana and nearly went to 7 games against the Hawks while Derrick Rose has shot what, like 40% for the playoffs as a whole? The Heat did away the Celtics in 5 games, while the Bulls needed 6 games to beat the Hawks.

Bench isn't going to be a deciding factor. Celtics and 76ers bench were both better than the Heat and they still lost. The bench gets shortened in the playoffs, and while reserves are important, it's the stars that ultimately win the game.

Ultimately it's going to be a defensive battle. If the Heat can match the Bulls in terms of defense, I see them winning it. Why? Because the Heat have more guys that can make plays offensively than the Bulls. If Rose struggles in any game it's highly unlikely the Bulls win that game. The chances of BOTH LeBron and Wade struggling in the same game is far less likely than Rose struggling by himself in one game.

I think we will see a disappointing series from both Boozer and Bosh and I expect them to negate each other.
