East - B.o.B. (If this guy didn't go mainstream I'd like him even more but there aren't many great artists on the east side, i don't really like eminem, his lyrics are amazing!!! but i just dont want him singing them!)

Man I don't really even listen to Hip Hop and even I know the East is a flood with great artists. NY is a breeding ground.

i was/am east tho, purely for biggie. but east has never been better than west. never.

West and East is only that Gangster wanna be ****. I think it would be very silly for someone to not like a guy cause he is east/west, Even more so that we are from Australia.

By the way the west poster boy Tupac was born in NY :D

yeah, alot of the rivalry was irrelevant to us. i dont care where youre from...like i said i prefer biggie, but concede that the west have produced far better stuff, far more consistantly, for a much longer time...
but then, it all really kicked off in NY. grandmaster flash, fab five freddy, sugarhill gang...
