Hi all,
Just looking as I have no idea about cards at all.
I used to buy them each month for my sons, but they have grown up, left home and told me to sell them on ebay or something.
These cards were bought and placed in slips in books and have stayed there, in my cupboard now for over 10years..LOL
Don't think they have anything special but might be something for someone.
Will work out how to load photo's.

Hi all,
Thanks..
Trying to go through the boxes.LOL
Long story short..We lived on farms in the middle of nowhere and shopping was once a month trip of up to 3 1/2 hours each way.
My sons always wanted Basketball cards are their "treat" (no lollies in this house) and as it was a once a month thing and I had 4 boys we tended to buy packs and packs of cards...which eventually extended to old baseball cards etc.
Collecting different cards and riding motorbikes was all the boys had...

Going though the boxes I now realise there is more than I thought..even those Tazo's LOL

I know with the basketball basic cards ((that everyone gets doubles/triples of)) there is a whole box full. My sons have told me to put them into lots and send to "young'uns" who are just kicking off their collecting phase. So, if you know a young'un starting off in need of some basic cards,,,plz let me know.

The others I will post pics of. As I said probably nothing special but hopefully something that someone is looking for.

Hi Kellie, welcome to Ozcards.

Did you buy American basketball (NBA) or Australian Basketball (NBL). I may be interested in any NBL inserts (these are the better cards in the pack and look something like this if you have any

Did try to take some pics but scanner is busted and cam isn't cutting it....
Is there anything on the cards that lets ya know what they are?

Hi and welcome, came to the right place, collectors galore, for BASKETBALL, NRL and everything else in between.....

NRL?
We have to slow down for me....
Hopefully I will get the hang of this soon....(damn genealogy is so easy and cards is soo hard)
oh oh I see on the bottom of your post NRL is football....(Rugby) No idea bout that either....but know some players who did stuff. LOL
Is NRL the jumping one or the tackling one??

Kellie

Ummm, basically if it says Futura on the back with a little kangaroo, the cards are NBL. Anything else should be NBA :)

Thanks.....that makes it soo much easier....(I thought it would be numbers or something)
Have soo many to go through and with no idea it is all kind of 'bewildering'

Look at the back of each card and look for these logos. It will help you work out what sport each card belongs to
