Is it just me or do other people hate it when you are watching an item or bidding and the seller stops the auction and cancels the bids because they are not going to get the price they want. Now I can see it is making it easy with the fees they have to pay but why is somthing not done to repeat offenders. Like for eg. Box sellers who don't get what they want then cancel and relist. I would like to say STOP wasting the collectors time, as they have bothered to bid on your item. If you want at least a certain amount get some BA**S and start it at the mininum you want! I have had it with the crap and I am starting a list of these sellers for myself and I will not be buying of them again. Let me know what you think.

i would agree 100% with you mate, as ive been the victim of that many a time when i think ive got a bargain on my hands and whammo, auction delisted. shits ya to tears.

but the thing is i would have done exactly that if i was selling a fairly decent item like my kobe patch, and it didnt reach a price i was happy with. with crappy stuff like jerseys and other low end stuff i wouldnt care, but high end stuff i would probably end it early.

i stop my auctions, but only cause i have the right to.

the other reason i stop my auctions is because i receive an offer that i can't refuse.
i never stop my auctions because a figure in mind is not reached:)

Yes you have the right to stop your auction. My main objetive with this post is to give my opinion on people who are repeatable offenders who just stop auctions because they will not get the price they are after, and then relist the item.

I will be honest and say I have stopped auctions before because I wanted to change it in some way. But no one had bid on them yet. And it is my policy once you get a bid it sells.

As for the offer you can not refuse, I can not blame a person who gets a great offer and then stops the auction to get a very generous offer. As doing this you don't see them relisting it the next day again.

It's all within the rules of eBay so when it happens to me I don't care because I know it's a possibility. I would rather that then be bumped by the seller with another ID !

Nothing worse than having your snipe ready, and cos of the little bids during the auction, they end it!

Not taking into consideration the hits it will get before the dying minutes.... grrrrrrrr
