The St.George Illawarra Dragons have been crowned the World Champions after defeating the Wigan Warriors 21-15 a great performance by the Dragons, Dragons have become the first team since 1992 (Brisbane, also coached by Bennett) to hold the Minor Premiership, Premiership and World Club Challenge trophy, not bad for a bunch of chokers...

Congrats Mick, It must be awesome being a fanatical dragon supporter at the moment. That is something the dogs are yet to do, Enjoy it while you can.

But dont get too far ahead of yourself. There is one very long season ahead.

Good luck

Thanks Rey, as you said AWESOME been a Dragon supporter at the moment, we have waited a long time to win the GF, this is just the icing on the cake... Agree with the long seaon ahead, will be a hard season with alot of teams fighting it out, Storm, Tigers, Doggies will all be up there everyone wanting to knock off the premiers, we will need to be at our best to have another shot at it, can't wait for the season to kick off....

Girds was a good effort by us everything against us as Wigan are about 4 -5 weeks into their season, we have had just 2 trials, flying half way around the world, not easy for Aussies teams as it shows in the win / loss ratio of our clubs vs the English ones, we out scored them 4-2 in the try's and kept them scoreless in the 2nd half...

Was a good solid win, keeping Wigan pointless in the second half was an awesome effort.

Shame about King, do we know the prognosis?

Cheers
Ross
