I just missed out on the card I have been chasing forever.

97 Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems Derrick Coleman - eBay (item 230586804845 end time Feb-23-11 19:13:01 PST)

I never thought it would go for this much. I had my snipe set at $256 and thought that would be more than enough. I am so gutted. I really hope its going to a good home. Hopefully one of its 9 brothers will surface one day and I will get another chance at it!

I was watching a few, the John Starks Red went for 180 and the Luc Longley Green went for 260 - high prices!

Its happened to the best of us, but dont worry about It man ... Nothin you can do once Its over. Cards always show up sooner or later. Maybe one you want more will show up. Couple months ago I put In $270 for a Grant Hill card In the last seconds of the auction ... It was a beautiful card that I woulda taken a bullet for ! lol ... In the last 3 seconds, It went up to $500. I was crushed ! BUT ... New stuff always shows up, so Its all good. Good luck to you man !

For the PC white whales you really need to go a bit crazy with your top bid, I thought you would have gone higher to totally make sure you had it covered!!!

Did you have a go at the red as well or just the green?
