How do we know it's not Champions at this stage? The Champions Logo sits in the top left corner and the sneak peak pic is of the bottom of the card....how do we know we're not just looking at an insert from the new series?

i like the look of what we have seen i like the logo thus far and the name 2011 root works for me as well i think it will be just like champions to a degree and they have just changed the name, i would not be surprised if the Gems are just each clubs rookie of the year from 2010. Maybe a touch on 2006 accolades with a dally m rookie of the year signature card perhaps. One thing i am fairly certain on and that is that there will be a set of commons

Dave..2011 root works well for me... hope i don't get one of those early. With my luck pulling outa boxes it's going to be a looonng nine months for me.

Sounds about right, I reckon that image is just a rookie card in the series. Why would the whole series be Rookie, it would be a pretty crap series if it was just all rookies! Or an inaccurate title.

Anyway, Champions again ... it's all over for me and Select. I've got every Knights card ever, but this is too much. Select can go **** themselves.

What a great set that would be, think of the possibilities:

You could have sub sets such as; Illicit Drug User / Woman Bashers / Serial Drink Driving / Steriod abusers etc etc

And for the case cards bring out the ones who have done hard time:

Joe Kilroy
Les Mara
John Elias

I think the fact that they are releasing signatures cards in the Champion series is a pretty strong indication that there will not be a series 2 again this year
