That's good and well if your'e trying to rehabilitate that person, but seeing we have a lot of young members on this site, if a deterrent (as I called it) stops at least one of those kids from becoming a scammer then we achieved something or if we zip our lips and hide it in some dark corner of the site then we are no better than the scammer himself. why don't you ask Grayson on his views?

I could imagines Graysons views... Stop being pig headed and realize you have to do things properly! Did you read anything I said or just the bits you wanted to? Everything is logged, once the person is outed do you really think they'll carry that username on??

I totally understand the need for scammers to be named and shamed at the time of being caught and so on... But what your suggesting just doesnt make sense... New identities are so easy to create online, there is nothing stopping looselips from logging on in an internet cafe and doing it all again under a different name...?

Like I said, maybe a closed and STICKIED (even caps locked it for you to see this time!!) with cases where people have been caught and such as a detterent, but leaving a thread like this open makes no sense at all.................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

people are forgetting some ISPS have dynamic IP addresses. you cannot ban the whole ip range as it would affect a lot of people.

Exactly. There could be 15 people on this forum with the same IP. Though he could always just use a Proxy anyway.

everyones is entitled to their views I didn't say you are wrong I said I DO NOT agree there is a difference. the part I do agree with you is as far as usernames go they don't mean squat but I am talking about preventing kids from becoming a scammer not rehabbing the scum who is already got it in his blood

yep that too. if someone is stubborn enough they will get around a ban quite easily.

WoW just got back to my desk the one thing i want to do is say thank you to all you guys who have sent PM's with information and responded in a positive manner within this thread very much apprieciated, i have also learnt my lesson regarding paying of cards, the way i do things will change whether the person agrees to it is up to them when i have a deal with them...
And a again he is supposedly sending the cards out on Monday for the rest of the people, lets see... Once again thanks and if anyoner needs any help or info please PM me... cheers

Just report the scumbag to the Police and let them deal with him, otherwise he will just start up a new identity somewhere else and do it again & again to other fellow collectors.
