I cant wait for Soundwave. Its going to be killer. No Sleep Til Perth (Dec 2010) was unreal too. I dont think I posted about it here. Anyway, I have already seen Megadeth twice prior to that, but was more than keen to see them again. They certainly didnt disappoint, especially with Dave Ellefson back on the bass (original member). He rocked the stage, Mustaine was awesome as usual, Broderick is a shred master as well.
The main band I wanted to see though was GWAR. It has been a long time dream of mine to see these guys. Words cant describe, you really have to see them to understand. I was in the front of the pit, on the rail and directly in front of Oderus, the lead singer.
There were warning signs at the front of the pit...
Being front and centre, boy did I get wet! Covered in fake pus, spew, blood, bile, and yes.... the long awaited semen. It was so awesome. I couldnt have been wetter if I went swimming in a multi-coloured swimming pool. Being covered in Gwar juice is something I have dreamt of since high school (15 years ago).
