Anyone pulled any good hits from single packs?

Just wondering if anyone from here has pulled any good hits from single packs bought at the news agency/market etc?
 
my best single pack hit was a 94-95 UD NBA Collectors Choice where I pulled a Silver Sig Michael Jordan baseball.... this was in 1995, so back then it was considered a pretty good hit, but not now.
 
nice, yeah the good old 90`s hey when every toy store had glass counters filled with inserts! was just wondering the funds have been low at the moment so every now and then buy couple single packs thinking that something good is gonna pop out at me but not yet lol
 
heres a couple of things i pulled from single packs from the newsagent... was lucky i was buying single packs back in 03/04 bust still these came from the basic cheaper UD, MVP and rookie exclusives.

Occasionally. It's been a while since I've seen anything in the newsagents in canberra but the last few things I've pulled from them have been sort of okay. I prefer to buy my cards from Dee's Comics and Books in Belconnen, Canberra - i get way better hits there.
 
I remember pulling a Skybox Draft Picks of Grant Hill back in the day....... I remember when I pulled it I was shaking & scared I was gonna drop it :lol: Everyone around me was like........ wowwwwwwwwwwww!!! :lol:
 
nice hits, think the best single pack hit i got was from a vending machine at the local video store,was a hot pack from 94/95 fleer was super happy with that, i can still remember the guys working in the trading card stores opening fresh boxes and counting three down from the left etc and pulling hits then whacking them in screw downs and putting them in the cabinets for sale!
 
wow Brent sweet single pack pulls there. The best i've done was a Shaq Power in the Key back in the days :lol:
 
I've only opened the one single NBA pack and I got a Michael Beasley Now Appearing :lol: But from AFL, I think over the last 5 years I've pulled 7 star wildcards from teamcoach (1:36) and I rarely buy more than 3 every week :)
 
oh yeah, 94/95 Fleer, I got a hot pack. We used to ask the dude that sold them at our local video shop if the hot pack had gone yet. There was 4 packs left and he said it hadnt been pulled, so naturally I bought all 4 packs. I forgot about that.
 
got a chris webber power in the key, back in the day when i used to get packs after skool...
shaq RC UD.
92-93 UD hi series was a big year for me.
i bought my first box/pack in a decade today. been a while. feels goooood...
 
yeah i pulled a Chris Webber power in the key to, was a mad looking card, still have it somewhere alot of my old collection is stored under the house might have to pull it all out and have a look.

i also pulled this card back in the day from my local newsagent at phillip island, also pulled the gold script one.
sometimes i wish they still sold nba cards at local newsagents.
