I'm looking at getting into some Martial Art training in the new year.... namely Krav Maga.... not really into all that "competition stuff" that a lot of Martial Arts have, just more into self defense stuff..... that's what Krav Maga is.

Watched a lot of those Human Weapon TV series & of all the ones I seen Krav Maga is the one that interested me the most.

Anyone else do anything..... especially Krav Maga?

I did Ninjitsu about 15years ago till it got banned here in Tas (well so we were told by our teacher). never really looked it up.

Studied Ninjutsu on and off most of my life.
Also studied Karate, Judo, Jujutsu.

That is where my instructor came from :D

I've studied Karate most of my life and was Junior National Champion. Recently being in detention services and the Army did a bit of hand to hand combat/grappling. Krav Maga is good so is Karate for grounding and Ninjutsu. Depends what you want to learn

I can't help you with Krav Maga but the best self defence is a good offence so probably better to go with something that can teach you holds and quick put down of your opponent not sure what they call it these days ! if you are looking to get fit and learn "some" self defence then I would suggest Taekwondo which is also good for working on your flexibility.

I did a bit of Karate and Kick Boxing back in the day.

Took neither too seriously although did compete in a few competitions.
