Just like I said you can not get a complete set of all cards no mater how many boxes you buy!! At least with select if you buy 1 box you get a full set of common cards. If you buy a case you nearly get a master set. With Goldie there is no chance of getting a complete set. You will get the same cards over & over again with the same cards missing. They have said their cards are for kids & not for collectors.

I have been picking and choosing from different newsagents and I seem to be going ok. Yes, each box contains similar packs but the packs are mixed. Not wonderfully mixed. But I am buying from Parramatta and Liverpool and Bankstown and Strathfield areas, so may be different cases?!

this is the select ashes thread, lets keep it to only the select box set. theres another thread for the goldie cards.
very poor promotion of these, its going to be the biggest flop ever. combine the fact that its x-mas and no-one has $300 to spend on some crappy commons in a box with a number, and the promotion of the box set has been anything but great. cant blame the state of cricket in this country or the consumers if this set fails!
Spot on. What do the cards look like?. Nothing on the Select site except a bit of blurb. A 50 card boxed issue for $300. This is $6 a card less cost of the box. This is heading towards a big flop. And who will Select blame?. You and me. I'd rather put my $300 (if I had it) towards the Gilly bat card.
