i have bought 20 packs from the same Box, So far i only have 8 different bats, all australians as well, not a POM in sight!! No gold ones yet either!
My first 3 packs yeilded 3 x siddles?? WTF
Stupid thing is, the cards are not random, you get the same 3 cards in every pack that has the star(bat) player. SO from 20 packs i onyl have 24 cards that are not doubles! They are VERY basic cards, not very strong card stock, alot of them are already bent...Very poor quailty... the bats are also some cheap plastic crap!! not wood! all in all i would give the set design and production about a 2/10... pathetic half arsed effort i must say!
They do make good beer coasters though, if thats what they were made for, then 9/10!!

I like them, def aimed at kids. The bats don't do anything for me. I like the cards. The packaging of the cards will need to be improved, but it was made in China, so they probably made the batches and boxed them that way instead of, say 2 x 12 packs in each box. Or 1 x 24. Instead we get 3 x 8 or 4 x 6. Still...I like my cards. Some do come dented but that is from the newsagents I reckon - most have them stacked up in the chocolate bar bays at the counter.

Bought 3 packs, picked them from different locations in the box and got 3 siddles!! That was the first and last time I buy them..... I'll give it to them for at least trying something different but it is a fail! Lets just hope someone like this moves on and trys a few different things... God knows Select won't do sh!t to try and bring stuff up to the level it should be at!
I spoke to Anton who the guy from goldie & he checked with his production manager who just happened to be in China & he said that all cards are randomely packaged & there is order & no matter how many boxes you buy you will get multiples of the same card & nearly impossible to get a full set unless you trade. He did say that the !st batch was Air Freighted over & not all the cards where produceed at the time. The 2nd batch of boxes are coming by sea & THEY HAVE ALL THE CARDS IN THEM,but still no order or sequence. So if wanting to collect all the cards I would wait for 2nd shipment to arrive.

It's just a boxing issue. Teething problem. I'll give him benefit of the doubt on this one. And it's good to get the kids in on it. Swapsies and flicks (heaven forbid) in the school yard is exactly what we need to give us future value and another generation of collectors.
I dunno if it is just me, but i cant understand what you just said, one minute u say its random , the next you say it is in order...
Then you say we have to trade to get full sets from first batch, but the first batch doesnt have all cards...
UMMM doesnt make any logical sense!
Bought another full box today , same deal as the first box, 8 different cards x 3 of each..... the cards ARE NOT randomly packed.. that is a total lie... if you get a ponting, the other 2 cards are the same every time, even from different boxes, same with every player... its ridiculous!! 48 packs and i only have aquired 10 DIFFERENT packs, CRAZY ****, still not one pom, now have 6 pontings, 6 watsons, etc etc lol will have to put a trade list up soon!
