Heafy83 is coming to town :D. Will be flying in on Friday and leaving Monday. There for the Bon Jovi concert Saturday night at Etihad. Anything else anyone would recommend me doing whilst im there?

Also at this very minute having the worst storms i've ever seen in Adelaide in all my life (28 years). 120km/h winds, heavy rain, hail. A lot of the suburbs north of Adelaide have no power. Seen rooves ripped off and trees on cars. Main roads like flowing streams too.

So brace yourselves Victoria..... you have two storms a coming :lol::lol::lol:

Queen Vic Markets, Crown Casino and dinner along Southbank. Yes, that Minotaur place is cool, I recommend it from one croweater to another!

Eureka skydeck! It's like the tallest building in the southern hemisphere i am led to believe.

It was an awesome experience for me when I went but it's bloody expensive!!! Hardly worth the price, there needs to be more to do up there. Plus the EDGE experience isn't as great as it sounds. Plus other than Brazil, Argentina, South Africa and New Zealand there are no other developed nations in the southern hemisphere so I hate it when people say things in Australia are biggest/tallest.

My cousin was in town for a week from Brisbane. We took her to Chadstone, Crown Casino, Phillip Island, Queen Victoria Market, Mt. Dandenong, Flinders St Station, Federation Square, the CBD and then a few random shopping centres.

Hope you have/had a great time at Bon Jovi and in Melbourne.

As the great man sang himself "HAVE A NICE DAY!!!"

we were in Melbourne last week on a sporting tour and it was quite enjoyable.

Obviously a day in the CBD is a must, Federation Square, Queen Vic Markets and the MCG are walking distance or short tram ride away so everythings close.
We went to the MCG to do the tour and it was good for my fourth tour but the bloke we had was a clown.. Also if your a sporting fan a walk down Punt Road/the other road? gives the opportunity to watch some teams train, on the Wednesday morning we watched Collingwood, Melbourne Demons train on the two footy ovals and the Storm and the Heart doing running drills on the sides and then if you pop around the corner Richmond train:) We nicked a footy from Richmond training that went onto the road:)

If your looking for shopping hit some DFO's like we did, but the Nike store is a rip off! Also went to Chadstone and Crown Plaza which was decent.

Personally one of my 'Things to Do' on my list when i go to Melbourne is to hit some 7-Elevens as i love the slurpees:razz: Bring them to Perth, Krispy Kream can follow:)
