how the hell do you guys average so many assists? if i dont drop 50 a game we lose! how do i bump up my stats too? im averaging 40 and not much else....REALLY starting to hate the AI...last night played the blazers, was one of those double points one, couldnt hit a shot, wouldnt even let me lay up...had to go to ot and i hit the buzzer beater with 0.9 left (surprising it let me hit it actually) need some tips on passing and which skills to bump up

I only average like 4.5 assists man. Haha!

And I mainly get them from pick and roll from the wing.

mate thats like 5 more than me! id be in the negative thats how much i DONT pass...im an sg it wont let me call plays! my myplayer must be different, i cant call plays nor can i change the game sliders, nor can i hit 3 pointers with an 80 rating of 3pters!

Are you on PS3? You can't call plays, but you can still call for screens. Hit L1 and a guy will come over and screen for you. If you hold it down instead of pressing it he will do a pick and pop, but if you just press it once then he'll come and roll to the rim after the screen.

Wow Jim when I got traded to the Jazz (drafted by the Pistons then went to the Suns who traded away Steve Nash ) they were 3rd in the league

But now theyre 42-7 or something like that Ive won MVP and been All Star MVP but I still don't have the star next to my name?

Im trying to get traded to back to the Pistons or the Suns where I have a chance at getting the star next to my name

Probably. I haven't simmed any games and am 20 games in. With my third team after getting drafted 26th by the Thunder, traded to the Jazz and now the TrailBlazers and just won Rookie of the Month for November.

All three teams have been good now, I think the TrailBlazers are 12-8 or something like that and the two I was in prior are around the same, all three within the top 6 seeds in the West.

I think I asked for a trade more out of boredom. Also the Thunder are cool but are a bit boring, have no history. The Jazz were good but again a bit boring with only D-Will as a standout player.

The TrailBlazers are sick though, Roy, David Lee, Aldridge, Camby, Batum, Fernandez, Patty Mills & Me! It's sick.

I just increased the difficulty from Pro to All-Star last night though and lost 2 games in a row. I still got my numbers and over 1000 skill points in each game though (8 min quarters). I wonder if we lose more games when the difficulty is higher. It might make it less fun... Will have to see how the next few games go and consider leaving it and potentially increasing when I get better or dropping it back down to Pro.

What difficulty does everyone play on??

im leading the league in scoring and won player of the week for 8 straight weeks, won rookie of the month, about to win my first player of the month (at the end of december) but not even being looked at for all star yet, dont think i have any votes! is there any way too look up your fan rating? i need to learn how to pass i think....if the AI is being an a$$ in the finals i wont win the championship unless i drop 60 a game

I gotta tell ya's its bloody frustrating losing with the Grizzlies all the time, but I am determined to keep pushing through

Record currently 16-23 5 odd games out of the playoffs, with Rudy Gay Injured my team sucks whenever I am off the floor. OJ Mayo and Marc Gascol go alright, Zac Randolph does not produce like he should, bloody Conley Jnr running the point is hopeless and the rest of my bench are useless!! They Traded in H.Thabeet for me who is a solid 2nd team player but without Rudy Gay there is only so much i can do!!

Me wife said to me last night " Why are you always yelling at the game, I thought you enjoyed it : I had to explain to her that although I am carrying my team as much as i can, they are all frickin useless and I am sick of losing!!

Anyways, I dont think I am going to sim any more games, I am really struggling driving to the basket and doing a layup, My dribbling is cray and so is my speed

last night against the Mavs I had 22 pts at half time and we were playing well

In the 2nd half the Mavs put Jason Kidd on me, it was downhill big time after that, I ended up with 32 pts but He must of stole the ball of me at least 6 times and he was so quick i couldnt get passed him on the dribble, like usual my team mates were nowhere to help

Well just made it to the Allstar game in my first season. They gave me 2 minutes on the court at the end of the 2nd quarter and that's all the action i got for the whole game

At least i got the 2000sp for making the team.

I'm on the Grizzlies and due to Rudy Gay, spend the majority of my time at PF instead of SF where i should be. Haven't requested a trade because i'm leading the awards voting for 6th Man of the Year Award and Rookie of the Year so i figured i'll stick it out until next season.

My Grizzlies are currently 5th in the Western Conference with about 28 games until the playoffs.

Now I remember why I got bored with and don't play My Player anymore...after saving the game for my team with a triple and a mid range 2 to tie it and send it to overtime, we're tied with 1min left in OT. I run round a screen but end up out of bounds...and my PG passes it to me anyway... Then, down by 2 with 5 seconds left and inbounds pass near the half. I get open, and the computer stands there and gets a 5 second violation... So they call a time out, take it down the other end, intentional foul, and hit the free throws to be up 4...game over. But, just in case you missed it the 1st time, we have another inbounds pass at the half cause we called a time out. Again, I get open, Udrih is open, everyone is ****ing open, and again the computer stands there and gets a 5 second violation... FFS. I mean seriously. Not once but twice? Even though the 2nd time it doesn't even matter? Pffffttt...

BTW, I had 49 points, 9 boards, 4 assists and 2 steals shooting 20/31 from the field and 9/11 from downtown! 43mins off the bench including OT.

How are you doing it, I am exactly the same, SF for the grizzlies, but instead my team SUCKS A$$

I went on a 3 game winning streak last night and I thought, ok, I am getting back to something decent

anyways half way through the 3rd leading all game against the rockets, I was up by 12

They sub me off, come back 4 mins left in the 4th and the bastards are down by 3

seriously a 15 pt turn around, wouldnt you think youd put me back on earlier, thank god the coach got the ass for the 6th time this season after that game

Lost the next 2 after that and am still 5 games out of the playoffs with 37 games to go

Just frustrating, Rudy Gay has been injured for the last 5 weeks, Its great I am starting, but without him, whenever I am off the floor we suck ass, even when i get a 12 pt lead they cant maintain it when I go to the bench!!

I am wondering what level difficulty you guys play on?

Ever since I've switched to Pro we've only won 2 of the past 8 games. And I'm still getting my A+ rating and my 26 PPG with over 55% shooting.

All I've found the difficulty does is make the opponent AI better at scoring, and our AI worse.

My teammates don't do anything on offense and can barely defend.

The opposing teams the last 8 games have averaged around 55-60% from the field. We can't win like this. Any tips??

Does anyone else find their AI team sucks? We were 12-5 on Pro difficulty, ever since I switched it to All-Star we are now 14-15 and have gone 2-10 over the last 12 games. I'm getting really frustrated, because I get all my regular stats but my teammates do nothing.

Like I said before, on top of it the opponents shoot like 55-60% from the field and seem to never miss. My guys can't get a stop.

Is it just All-Star level, are the higher ones just as bad?? I'm considering playing on Pro simply because it's not fun losing all the time.

Was getting no time, asked for a trade. First game after asking for the trade, 16pts 14 rebound game. Maybe things are looking up, got sent to the Warriors. Playing off the bench behind Lee. I'm scoring, rebounding, blocking and assisting more then he is. And I am playing a few more minutes off the bench then he is as well. Averaging 34 mins 15ppg 12 rpg 4 apg and 2 bpg

And Jimbo, I am feeling your pain. I moved to all-star as I felt was a little to easy (being behind to the lakers by 21 and winning by 11) I found that they were useless and went back to Pro to enjoy the game.

keep it on pro because it seems as the more you progress the AI knows how you play your game. i went on another win streak of 8 games then lost 3 in a row to teams under .400! (grizzles, clippers, cleveland). Played cleveland again last night, with 3 minutes left i was up by 26, i was subbed out, pressed y to advance, what do you know, its tied up into fricken overtime!! fricken bullsh!t, then i missed my first 6 shots from close....the AI is really starting to get to me, i had to drop 71 to get the win cos no one could hit a shot
