I reckon you were right the first time Warney.
Rooney certainly knows how to make himself look like a tool (and not just from wearing a United shirt). He said a few days ago it wasn't about money, but surely it is. His initial reson being that United no longer had any ambition sounded like an absolute crock. IF that was the case, surely the crunch meeting he had with Gill would of been to dicuss LOWERING his wages so United could afford to bring more players in? Yeah right. He's had a very public tantrum, and what could of changed? More money in his pocket...

That's a very good point for an Arsenal fan!!!

Well props to the arse - Boyata made a poor challenge and eventually Arsenal made us pay. If anything City tried too hard to score IMO - if they'd held onto the ball a bit more they might have done better - however they gave it a great shake and it was a good game to watch. Silva and Richards were our best. About the only other positive was that Balotelli is now fit - will be great to see what he can do.
In the end though 3 pts for Arsenal and they did the business. Now 3 tied on 17 after United finally won away.

Thought I'd get the thread going again and talk about how well the Gunners are going...
Oh we lost?
Ok then, apparently a story is about to break when the poms wake up about Le Professor having an affair. I know he likes to divert the attention away from the players when we lose, but this is a bit extreme! Nah, will be the usual b.s. from The Sun if they do publish it...
Anyway, almost back to having most of our players available again. Has been great to see some depth in the team finally after struggling in similar circumstances in the last few seasons. Lack of depth cost us the league in 2007/08...

Woo finally looks like Liverpool hitting some form. Great win this morning and very unexpected. Not getting too excited yet though

it's on Alistair!! Nothing like some City flogging, should be a good derby though!

wasn't a game of many chances, 0-0 draw... Great match to watch though!

Big weekend coming up gents. North London derby Saturday night, give those yid scum more reason to boo their team. Just on the booing, there has been a lot from the Tiny Totts and Citeh supporters of late. Both a bit surprising for mine, with both teams being more successful of late compared to being pretty mediocre for many many years. Citeh supporters have had a tough run for a long time, and it was always going to take a while to gel for their new team. The difference to when Roman came in for Chelski, was they already had a good nucleus of a team, and had been somewhat successful, so the big name players that came in helped an already pretty good team. Citeh need time (should of kept Dunne, what a season he had at Villa).
As for the Scum, they have been getting booed off regularly now, even 'arry is sick of it. And this season of all seasons, they are in the Champions League, something they probably won't do again for many years. They are still somewhat competitive (Top 7 in the league is good for the Spuds). They need to realise their team has peaked. This is as good as it gets for them. AND didn't they beat the European Champions at Sh!te Hart Lane two weeks ago???

And Liverpool, well they don't boo. They just chant the name of ex-managers...always finding new ways to live in the past

United 2-0 win, Chelsea lost to Birmingham 1-0! and Bolton won 5-1 to move into 4th place.

Down in Spain Barca won 8-0, with Leo Messi scoring a hatrick and Bojan a brace while Real Madrid are up late in the second half 4-1 with C Ronaldo on a brace

You'll keep United
Gutted, but its been a strange season so far thats for sure. Would've happily taken 2 points off the top of the league after 14 games if offered it at start of season, disappointed with home form though. Long way to go yet...

I dunno about a new keeper, that was a great save by Fabregas... except he wasn't the keeper (and it shouldn't of even been a free kick in the first place just quietly...but we move on)

yeh i reckon... Bale is becoming one of my favourites as well, how Gareth, why don't you move to my favourite team?? Please??!!

GiRDS- Got Chamakh Star Signing today if your still after it..

What is this, spud love day? GiRDS didn't you just buy an Arsenal shirt? And Warney I'm not surprised with Berbatov in your avatar...

haha set myself up for that.
Fair enough
