it is frustrating to watch, especially when we were smashing them early on.. SAF NEEDS to spend money in January and if not the EPL will be Chelsea's again

Everton too good for Liverpool - now coming 2nd laaaaast......

City had a good win at Blackpool with Tevez scoring 2 and David Silva scoring a peach! City sitting in 2nd and picked up 2 more points on Chelsea. We have Arsenal at home next week - win that and we'll be a very solid 2nd.

In 2 weeks Balotelli will be back and then things will get interesting....

i hate no Premier League weekends!! Here am i last night ready for the United game to see the next round is on the 16th.. stupid International duty...

Finn, i have found the new Match Attax release!! They look pretty cool this year

The Man United cards include:

100 Club: Ferdinand, Rooney
MOTM: Evra, Nani, Scholes

did oldbarndoor play on Sunday? Mancini can rest him this weekend, RVP's head won't be on the field for him to kick the crap out of...

yeah Rooney gone now. United need to buy a big player during the January window, if not our reign is over i would say.

Rooney is an interesting one. According to media reports, his reason for wanting to leave is due to a falling out with Ferguson, which traditionally you would think he would definitely be going. However, if this is the reason, with old red nose getting close to 70, and Rooney only about 24, would the board possibly consider enforcing an early retirement for the boss (ok, it would hardly be early, but you get what I mean) and keep Rooney? He's apparently injured again, and you wouldn't expect him to get much game time when he comes back. If United are considerably sitting below their lofty standards on the table come January and Rooney hasn't played, might be interesting to see how things pan out.

But in saying that, Man IOU's debt is huge, and the Glazers would be keen to cash in, ala Ronaldo... Personally I think if he goes, it will be to Real Madrid for a few seasons, only to return with Mourinho when SAF eventually retires...

And onto more important news... 5-1 to The Arsenal in a dominating display this morning =D> with the only goal scored against from ex-Gunner Eduardo who got a standing ovation =D>

and Cescs back. Bring it Citeh. Your gonna get Chamakh-ed ;)

I don't think SAF has anything to do with the situation. He seemed shocked at the press conference last night and was adamant that he had never had an argument with Rooney.

I think this is just a combination of a young player under a lot of pressure and the absolute flogging he's received by the British media over the past few months regarding either his poor form in the league, in internationals and in his personal life.

I get the feeling he just wants to leave England.

yeah this whole fiasco has been started by the media, too much pressure on a young player with high expectations is a time bomb waiting to explode..

Rooney's 99.9% going now... his reasoning was this: He says that he believes the clubs attract-ability is poor for star players so he doesn't like where they are going... I agree with Wayne here but i think it is a little unfair to leave midway through the season. I hope he goes away some play else, into another league because i don't want to hear his name.. He got into s*** and we supported him through it, if he doesn't want the support he can f*** off somewhere else.. End Rant:razz:

A big topic out the moment is who will replace him, apparently if Liverpool get relegated Torres wants out and apparently he wants United. The other one is Suarez, Sir Alex is an apparent fan of him so it should be interesting to see what happens..

What's more interesting is your sig Warney!!!!!

Rishgoon - Ade played vs Blackpool - put in a good 70 minutes and looked to be coming back to form. Think the Arse game is coming just at the right time. That said David Silva came on for the last 20, set one up an scored a doosie .
Shame Van ***** is out - I've hated that focker ever since then - talk about a moaning *****. He ran his mouth off for weeks about that nudge - or was it a stomp - what did he call it?? Anyway it wasn't hard enough whatever it was....

Should be a great game - City have gone better against teams who chase the game - Arsenal don't sit back so I'm really looking forward to it....
Also looking forward to Man U at Stoke.......

Yeh he's a bit of a joker Fowler, pretty tongue in cheek I reckon. Unfortunately the media over here don't seem to cover enough soccer so they've taken it pretty seriously...
In saying that, the Glory would be a MASSIVE step up from Rooney's old club ;)

Good to hear GiRDS. Chamakh's getting better and better, he's been a great pick up for nothing

Ade's warmed up for the Arse game with a hat trick - 3 VERY tidy finishes - Silva had an absolute blinder - as did AJ. Can't wait for some more EPL...

I forgive you Wayne! Everything i said about you is not true:lol:

Rooney re-signs with Manchester United | EPL | Fox Sports

WOW!! What a turn around! Something must have cnahged his mind, it must of being pretty radical, like maybe, 500k a week?

Haha - probably something like that....
Here's something else that mighta changed his mind....

BBC News - Protest outside Wayne Rooney's Cheshire home

Classy.

Still think u need to change your sig to 'The future's looking BLUE!!!'

he can f*** off somewhere else..
I reckon you were right the first time Warney.
Rooney certainly knows how to make himself look like a tool (and not just from wearing a United shirt). He said a few days ago it wasn't about money, but surely it is. His initial reson being that United no longer had any ambition sounded like an absolute crock. IF that was the case, surely the crunch meeting he had with Gill would of been to dicuss LOWERING his wages so United could afford to bring more players in? Yeah right. He's had a very public tantrum, and what could of changed? More money in his pocket...
