Saw MetallicA both of the last 2 nights in Melbourne. They were absolutely brilliant!!! That's too bad. The last tour they did, Brissy was an all ages show.

I am hoping Bad Brains make it out as they were supposed to come out earlier this yeat but had to cancel.

But I did just buy my Soundwave ticket today, it is a pretty awesome lineup.
 
If the rumour that Blink 182 are doing the Big Day Out turns out to be true, I'll be there! But then all I have read previously is that Travis refuses to get on a plane again so they'd want to be dedicated!
 
Yea im probably going to Big Day Out no matter what the lineup, but if some of these rumours are true, its going to be massive!

Saw Metallica last night, one of the loudest concerts ever, my ears are still ringing and the setlist was sick as, downloaded the concert for $10 this morning :D Wasn't real fussed on the memory remains, wish fade to black was played instead, but they played it saturday... Going again tonight, may be deaf by the morning!!!

I decided I'd hope Rammstein did a sideshow...cause I didn't want to see any of the other trash at the BDO so wasn't willing to pay $164 for just Rammstein!
 
I saw Metallica on Monday and Tuesday nights. Pretty awesome.

The set list was quite different on the two nights, only around 6 or so songs repeated on both nights.

I still think Monday was louder but maybe my ears just got used to it, hard to say! Didn't think they could top Monday night, but to jump into the four horseman, ride, the thing and harvester within the first 6 songs... WOW :D and I Disappear was a great suprise, that was only the 2nd time in 4 years they have played that live anywhere!!!
A little bit of info about the Brissy shows
What a great setlist for this third and final night here in Brisbane. 45,000 people filled the Entertainment Centre for these three sold out shows, and you made another record, with the LARGEST capacity (per show) in the Centre's 24 years of operation.

What about the way James said at the end "We will be back real fu#%ing soon Brisbane", more shows after melbourne?!?! have heard rumours :D

Yeah the setlist on Tuesday was a ripper. It was louder on monday for me but I think that is due to the fact I was in the standing area on monday and seats on tuesday.
