16 Yrs of Collecting - New Member - Also With Question - Oct.14th. 2010.

Whats happenin people. I have been reading this forum for about 2 months and decided to finally join in on the fun. I started collecting In 1994 (First card - '94 Skybox Joe Montana). My collecting went on and off for 16 years ... Makes me sound old, though I'm only 21. So, I ended up with boxes of cards & decided to sell everything off on Ebay. Made some good money, and only wanted a small select collection. Eventually sold that small collection off as well (some what of a revelation on how much these cards are worth & how much they actually mean to me). Though I still have love for 'em. And I still keep an eye open for anything beautiful. - My collection now is about 10 cards. And only 1 thats actually worth something. - I live in Tulsa, around all these OKC fans. Yes their very good & young. Love the blue jerseys, but Im not really a fan. Im a loyal Phoenix Suns Fan. Cant go wrong with Steve Nash & Grant Hill ! - But anyways, Thats my intro. You guys seem pretty cool & knowledgeable on card collecting. - Rob.

- - And My Question - Do you guys think this Is legit ? Just wondering - It Is from the same seller who had that sketchy Grant Hill Logoman that was taken off Ebay a couple weeks ago - Though the seller did have a few that looked legit - Wondering what you all think on It -

Good. I'm the first one to reply, Dude, stay as far as you can from this card. In recent times, there have been a lot of weird looking cards popping out from the woodworks. There was a similiar discussion on a Ewing Game jersey not too long ago.... and am pretty certain that is a fake. No harm sending Upperdeck a question on this card. Anyhow welcome to the site. - - The G Hill Auction I listed - I havnt seen even 1 card like that with more than one color In the patch - The right side of the patch looks iffy - Just seems too good to be true.

- - He also listed this one - GRANT HILL 99 FLEER FEEL THE GAME JERSEY PATCH 5 COLOR - eBay (item 360310036486 end time Oct-17-10 11:35:13 PDT)
