anyone hear about the Stadium of Light Changeroom fiasco? United's changeroom was full of sewage after a sewage main burst and much of United's stuff had to be burnt including suits and bags because of health reasons..

Roma's Danielle De Rossi linked to Old Trafford
United Youngster Federico Macheda goes to Lazio on Loan
Roberto Mancini rumoured to make an astonishing 110 Million Pound Bid for Centre Back Pique- Manchester City To Make Astonishing
The most interesting one for me as a United supporter is about Gareth Bale, with United and Real Madrid lining up bids for him. I am just hoping that a young guy like that would rather stay close to family than move to Spain so maybe United's answer to a good young player??

Ryan Giggs interested in managerial role
Mancini can't be serious with the huge bid for Pique can he?? If you have that sort of money to spend (which they don't as last month's figures showed) you would surely look to bid on players such as Messi, Ronaldo or Torres not a defender, not saying Pique is a dud because he went from Zero to One of the Best in a few years..
Obviously United haven't got off to a dashing start like what was expected but i agree with others, SAF was wrong to say his team was sufficient enough to win back the title, we are relying on form at the moment to win us games, and we are lucky that Berbatov and Scholes inparticular have stepped up as we need Rooney to grow up, man up and shut up and maybe, just maybe, he will get back to his top form.
As Tiger Maniac said earlier in this thread, they really do need a midfielder that is smart and can really push forward and score goals (and assist of course). A player like Iniesta would be perfect and we need to pick up someone like him during the January Transfer Window to give us any chance of winning some comps.
I have to disagree with the formation you were talking about Finn, 3-4-3 is a good formation but i think our main problem at the moment is our defence so we need as many back as possible, so in saying that i would be going to a 4-3-3.
So it would look like this:
Van der Sar
O'Shea Vidic Ferdinand Evra
Nani *** Giggs
Rooney Berbatov Owen
***- Centre Mid would be taken up by either Fletcher or Scholes.
With Macheda gone on loan i would stick Chicharito on the bench, he seems to cope with pressure well so maybe an Owen like player who scores late goals as a sub?
And keep faith in these two- Carrick and Gibson..
Anyway, lets hope (us United fans) that they can start winning!
Yay United just won 3-0 against Chelsea...........on FIFA
