anyone hear about the Stadium of Light Changeroom fiasco? United's changeroom was full of sewage after a sewage main burst and much of United's stuff had to be burnt including suits and bags because of health reasons..

Some transfer related headlines this week

Roma's Danielle De Rossi linked to Old Trafford
United Youngster Federico Macheda goes to Lazio on Loan
Roberto Mancini rumoured to make an astonishing 110 Million Pound Bid for Centre Back Pique- Manchester City To Make Astonishing

The most interesting one for me as a United supporter is about Gareth Bale, with United and Real Madrid lining up bids for him. I am just hoping that a young guy like that would rather stay close to family than move to Spain so maybe United's answer to a good young player??

Mario Ballotelli drives into a women's prison without permission Mario Balotelli Detained For Driving Into Women's Prison Without Permission - Goal.com
Ryan Giggs interested in managerial role

Mancini can't be serious with the huge bid for Pique can he?? If you have that sort of money to spend (which they don't as last month's figures showed) you would surely look to bid on players such as Messi, Ronaldo or Torres not a defender, not saying Pique is a dud because he went from Zero to One of the Best in a few years..

Obviously United haven't got off to a dashing start like what was expected but i agree with others, SAF was wrong to say his team was sufficient enough to win back the title, we are relying on form at the moment to win us games, and we are lucky that Berbatov and Scholes inparticular have stepped up as we need Rooney to grow up, man up and shut up and maybe, just maybe, he will get back to his top form.

As Tiger Maniac said earlier in this thread, they really do need a midfielder that is smart and can really push forward and score goals (and assist of course). A player like Iniesta would be perfect and we need to pick up someone like him during the January Transfer Window to give us any chance of winning some comps.

I have to disagree with the formation you were talking about Finn, 3-4-3 is a good formation but i think our main problem at the moment is our defence so we need as many back as possible, so in saying that i would be going to a 4-3-3.

So it would look like this:

Van der Sar
O'Shea Vidic Ferdinand Evra
Nani *** Giggs
Rooney Berbatov Owen

***- Centre Mid would be taken up by either Fletcher or Scholes.

With Macheda gone on loan i would stick Chicharito on the bench, he seems to cope with pressure well so maybe an Owen like player who scores late goals as a sub?

And keep faith in these two- Carrick and Gibson..;)

Anyway, lets hope (us United fans) that they can start winning!

Yay United just won 3-0 against Chelsea...........on FIFA:razz:

That Pique story is garbage - If every City story was true we'd have a team of 125. SOmeone's written it up after the announcement of our yearly loss, just to make a point. Don't believe everything u read from the UK - most of it is shee-ite.

Sewage seems farily appropriate for United's performancedon't u thi8nk??

yeah like the time when goal.com said United and Barcelona were to confirm Rooney signing, about a year ago this was but what a load of crap it was in the end..

Sewage is appropriate to describe there season...

I like how Liverpool is the most tipped to win and they are in the relegation zone lol.
Man United are crap. Chelsea and Man city are the exciting teams at the moment. Stoke City are goin alright too.

GO NEWCASTLE!!

I'm a bit of a sore loser, so don't normally like to follow any stories after a loss (although the Gunners played well for no reward), but I believe this is Liverpools worse start to a season since 1953/54 - when they were relegated. Better not go into administration...

haha Man United are crap? United are 3rd and Newcastle are 15th!:)

if pique goes to man city ill be following a new team. he is an awesome player

As good as he is (and Warney City can afford anyone - it doesn't matter how big our loss is this year - in 2 years time we have to live within our means, not now)
City's defence is holding strong. 3 goals in 7 games in the EPL. Someone said City are exciting, wouldn't go that far! I think we've scored 10 or 11 goals in 7 games!!

Finally its done.......... Liverpool has been sold to the owners of the Red Sox! This is such a relief. This debt and in-fighting was weighing us down. Having American owners i'm not keen on, but just being able to move on its pivotel. The new owners have already said there will be plenty of money to spend on transfers in January and have also commited to building a new stadium :D It wont be long and Liverpool will be in contention again.

Nah been here the whole time. Think I made a comment or two. Very suprised how poor we have been. Was expecting the City loss considering it was on your turf. I think the whole debt and in-fighting situation has really disrupted the club. I think you will see a different Liverpool side against Everton next weekend. Yes I stayed up to watch the Blackpool game. To say i was not impressed would be an understatement! However i did win some $$$ out of it as i thought Blackpool was great value at $11 which was proved to be right :D

Later Game-
Aston Villa v Chelsea

My mum coulda caught that! In a season of hilarious goalkeeping errors, that was the worst, by miles. Hart has had 1 blunder for City. Arsenal's flappers commit a stuff up every 2nd week. Now VDS is in on the act. Reina had a howler week one - Only Cech from Chelsea has been quality. Makes me happy City have 2 quality keepers.

City have a chance to go to clear 2nd on the table if they can beat Blackpool - no easybeats mind u, just ask Liverpool.....

i think he misjudged it a little, jumped to early or should have waited for it to drop down by moving around his box to get in a better position to claim it.

Yeah and the sun was in his eyes and some one yelled "miss it!!" etc etc!!!!

Another lead blown mate...not like United.
