Predicament....

If they're both stand up blokes then they'll understand your predicament and agree that an auction is the best idea.

Another option is a dutch auction - tell them both they have to put up their best offer and the best one will be accepted. Don't fell guilty about it. You've been straight up as the seller - that's all they can ask.
Good luck!

I see it this way, first in best dressed is a good starting point however I would also weigh up who will get the most benefit from the card.

If person A has the card already and person be offers the same and doesn't have the card, I would be willing to offer it to person B simply because they dont already have it and the first person wont be missing out as they already have it.

If person A is doing it for an upgrade (patches etc) they could look to offload the double to person B if they are interested.

In the end, you need to be fair and be comfortable with yourself in the decision you make!

Good luck and if all else fails, put it on ebay and let the bidders fight it out!

Cheers
Matt

Also must point out that the PC collector already has the card... just trying to get another one......

If this is true that one person already owns the same card from the set then I would not trade it to them. Fair enough if they would have liked on in the PC but more than 1 of the same card seems greedy imo

For a PC collector if you like the card you want multiples especially if there are different patches/tags you like in the set hence my Augustin Exquisite LL's and RC's.

Exactly! Just because they are from the same set doesn't make any 2 cards the same! Plus there are another 8 from the set!

Yes, but this one has extremely weak patches, and who's to say I will ever get to see any of the other 8...

You can tell who here really is part of the community and who is just out for themself...

Only objection to this would be because unlike those Augustins there is a known collector of what is on offer...

i dont think your going to get the answer you were after mate. people will give advice eg. early bird gets the worm, but i dont think anyone will say trade it to person A or trade it to person B.
i dont think its fair to say dont give it to the person who has it, coz then your disadvantaging them simply for being a collector.
theres no fair way and i think you will have to bite the bullet, pick one person for which ever reason your happy with and annoy the other person. theres probably no pretty end to this.

So what exactly makes ur pc more important than mine or anyone elses? And who are you exactly to say what I do for this community? U need to be here for longer than 5 mins to know what I have done here. You are obviously clueless.

With all that being said, I'm willing to act my age unlike urself. I'm not going to counter offer any more offers that u make from this point. If you make an offer to jay that he's happy with, it's yours. I honestly have better things to do than have petty arguments or play pathetic little games with u! :)

Guys, I think this thread has run its course, lots of valuable ideas but I think its now down to the seller to decide what he wants to do!
