Bit of a weird question here guys

I got some Skins half tights to wear for bball. I have washed them once, but not worn them yet, but they seem to have a bit of a strange smell.

I figured it was just the antibacterial and/or antimicrobial treatments, but I'm not sure, so I thought I would ask.

Has anyone else with Skins had the same issue?

No mate, I wear the same thing for cricket and they shouldn't smell any different to the rest of the washing. You haven't got the "ICE" version have you ?

LOL Graham, that's why I pointed out I hadn't worn them yet.

No, I've just got the regular ones mate. Think I might return them.

LOL definitely no marks in them.

They kinda smell bad, but it is weird, almost like a chemical smell. I tried washing them in just water and still didn't get the small out, neither did leaving them on the line to air out.

None of the other washing smells, so it isn't the detergent or the water or anything.

I have the regular set and a ice set and neither smell or smelt when I got them mate.....return for sure!

Took them back today. The woman I spoke to asked one of the other staff who said they all smell like that after washing them, which was weird and goes against what other people (here and elsewhere) have told me. She then spoke to a manager who said to give me an exchange.

Hopefully it doesn't happen again.
