Am I being too critical???

The point I was referring to was as I stated I myself have been guilty of offering low prices due to lack of funds and was rudely dealt with but as I knew it was a ridiculous offer I did not take offense but now I have come into the big fat folding stuff and am looking to buy some higher priced cards I will be a bit choosy whom I choose to deal with. would also like to know where that thread can be found

 I know what you mean because I have been in similar position. in the end, even someone who I don't really want to deal with has something I have been chasing, I will still do a deal with them.

actually your earlier comment raises a good point quote: "As for people who ask me about a card I have just purchased or traded, then I will ignore it because if it was for sale or trade then it would be listed up" end quote my argument would be it may have been in a packaged deal where he bought it to sell for a profit or trade it on for something else he is after as this is what the card I was referring to seemed to be. so I asked the question but alas no answer totally ignored. I know we don't live in aperfect world but as lomg as I play my part I know we still have hope

This site is a lot better then many, many others out there, espically with communication between members! I do agree its frustrating as hell, but thats life, it happens a hell of a lot less here then other sites including ebay!

I have been known to forget to reply to a PM here and there. But when you have so many deals happening at once on here and ebay and other forums plus working 50 hours a week its easy to miss 1 or 2 PM's. I never do it to be rude its just a honest mistake.

The important factor to all this simply is; communication is not hard to do effectively. I have not had a problem in any of my dealings, perhaps I over communicate.. lol. But, if i am the buyer I always advise of a payment date. And if I am a seller I always ask for the payment date. Things can happen to change these, but one quick message makes it not even a problem. Just communicate and you and your buyers/sellers will be happy and eager to do further trades. I have received ridiculous offers in the past, but still reply even if it's with " haha, are you kidding?!"

lol I never heard back from you about the Fitch auto. No hard feelings...

Any way I think as others have mentioned it is a HOBBY and in this current economy there are prob not a lot of people with money to burn. Common courtesy does not go astray though there are a number of people on here that don't reply unless they feel like it. I have been guilty in not replying before but usually only stupid offers or people who constantly waste my time.
I think its just a reflection on today's society in general no one gives a f#@k about anyone else except them selves.
Buyers want to buy low sellers want to sell high. I found ive been going back to ebay as its to hard to make deals with alot of members lately and i have been selling as cheap as i possibly can as i have personal reasons for selling a lot of my collection.
What is amusing to me just yesterday i had a member on here ive tried dealing with a hand full of times in the past months usually starts off ok then contact just stops. I sent them a message to say how frustrating it was to deal with them. The reply i got was i asked you about cards ages ago and never got a reply so i wanted you to see what its like for someone to waste your time. Now i didn't realize someone could be so petty and childish. If i missed a email it was by mistake and there was no follow up. Gee if your offended by that i have a outbox full of sent messages people don't respond to. Even people who have made a wantlist you just think to your self... well f#@k u next time you want cards i have.

There have been threads like this before and i guess there is no point whinging its just the nature of the beast.

"Ok mate How much for the Fitch Auto? "

this is the pm i sent 2 days ago :)

oh wow, just searched back through my messages and found your reply! I apologise, this just shows how easy it is to miss a message. I had 5-6 pm's when I logged in and somehow missed yours. PM sent!

My situation is exactly the same, some people don't understand this.

lol captain america i couldn't pm him his inbox was full so put a comment in thread never heard back so i just moved on...

Tis annoying when you have repetitive PMs sent but people refuse to respond... despite them being active on the forums during this time.

There have been many threads like this before & I totally agree with you..... especially annoys me when I send multiple PM's & people still ignore you. Show some courtesy you mugs...
