Ok maybe not that interesting but they'll draw a reaction...
First up, a very cool card for my mate thanks to Al:
Kareem vs Wilt:
Then one of the two cards I really really wanted from Timeless Treasures (and my only Mikan memorabilia):
1/1 Kobe jersey number...
Next up a very nice Exquisite card, also for my mate. Pity it's not # 3/3 as that could be considered jersey number...
(blackrose - very fast shipping)
Which brings me to the story parts of this mailday. No big story about this one:
Other than the fact that it arrived without a toploader or any protection, inside a folded-over large bubble envelope which was inside a USPS prepaid priority mail envelope. The card is bent/warped and it's pretty likely this happened in transit, because the seller didn't protect it!!!
And then the interesting story...
I bought this (stupidly)
And this because I wanted it
but the seller used that really annoying Auctiva program. These were supposed to be shipped to Matt's address in the States. But because Auctiva is STUPID and no matter what (even if your primary shipping, billing and registration address is one thing), it ships to your home address. That would have been ok, however he addressed it to my home address but instead of writing New Zealand, he wrote AUSTRALIA...!!
Pretty close places, but seriously.. if the address Auctivia gives you says New Zealand, why the heck would you let your ignorance take over and change it to Australia?? I can't believe they actually arrived!!
