Well I've just started opening it and Im already wondering how im going to remember where which screws go haha...something else funny is that I have found a dead spider inside the PS3 aswell :lol: not massive but still a spider :razz:

LOL they reckon the PS3's get real filthy. Check all the solder joins Nick they have a tendancy to crack apart

Yeah there's a fair bit of dust and crap in it and spiders apparently haha im opening up the part to check the lens aswell...one bloody little screw wont budge tho :razz:

I can only imagine how much dust is in mine...as our house is dusty at the best of times! In fact, I'm going to forget I even thought of it. What I don't know/think can't hurt me...or my PS3 :D :lol:

The first screw is the hardest, you need a torx screwdriver size T10 its in really tight, tight like a tiger!

The weird thing is that i plug my PS3 into my Samsung HDTV and it is 1080p no probs. But i plug my SONY PS3 into my SONY Bravia HDTV and for some reason the games revert back to 760p :eek:

haha nah, its still up sh!t creek, whatever I did didnt help it. Might be some of the hardware...looks like I'll have to get someone to check it out! Anyone in Melbourne know of any good PS3 repairers?

I will check the score mate. If he did that wouldn't be unusual as he did the same to me.

Just picked up a win against J_Keefy and the Warriors. Solid offensive moves but had trouble stopping the ball on offense.

I got a good mix of inside scoring, free throws, triple's and mid-range shots going in that game, fully utilizing my bench too.

Pretty happy with the result, I'm 5-2 now. Keen to get in against some of the Division Rivals, particularly mkd_kid who is 6-0 right now.

ARZBAR - Will have to consult the other mods mate. There is a "D" next to his name but it was only the 1st quarter and the score was only 21-14. Unfortuantely that's not a definitive win for you when he quit, meaning if his side legitimately dropped out then a re-set will be in order.

also, i played j keefy and was winning by 25 points with about 7 or so mins left and i dropped out.
will need a sim win for me

I reset the other game. It was in the 1st quarter! If he left on purpose, it is annoying, but then it is the 1st quarter and the game was relatively in the balance. Sorry.

As for the game with John (jkeefy), I'll double check the John is cool with giving you the win, but I doubt he'll say no since he is reasonable and he was down by 25 in the last! Not like you'd willingly leave in that situation.

So John, cool with keeping that result?

Just closed out the series against John in S2. Was only up by 4 at 3 quarter time but in the last I came out with an odd short line-up of Noah/Dorrell Wright/Carney/KMart/Mo and everything started clicking! Stretched it to 13 before John scored and finished up out scoring him 40-17 in the last with Martin scoring 16 of his 22 in the last, Mo with maybe 10 in the last also. Noah had 18 points as I found John not getting back quick enough and I hit Noah with the pass. He also had 4 blocks.

Great series John! I had to change up my D totally to get there after my loss as you know a great amount of moves on O. Look forward to meeting in S3 :)

Looks like it'll be my high-octane offense against your half-court defensive slugging team ;)

We'll have to wait a while though, looks like Ian and Michael haven't started their series yet.

I logged on at about 11:30 to get a game. Season 3, wanted to play Koori but he bailed on me so Zel messaged and I played him.

I got out to an early lead by running the ball, he tried to do the same but my interior players swatted the shots away too many times.

Anyway I built a comfortable lead, then on offense Zel was doubling whoever had the ball, which of course naturally left Joe Johnson or Chase Budinger open at different stages to cash in the 3's. Add in that my main man Josh Smith is built for a quick game (he got so many steals, blocks & dunks) and I had the lead stretched out ridiculously by half-time.

My Pistons ran off 70 points in the first half, including 38 in the second quarter while holding Zel's Raptors to 32 points in the entire half.

Anyway one minute into the third he decided to quit, which of course I wasn't happy about but I understand why he was frustrated and happily I'll take the win. The score was 74-33 at that point (and I wasn't exploting either btw, I had already hit 6 three's at that point).

Mods - don't give me the automatic sim win, just let it stand as the score is because even though my guys only got to play 1 minute into the third, I was pretty happy with the numbers they accumulated.
