Hey guys as the title says got a sick "AS" mailday today, the "AS" being a couple new lettermans, obviously being the "A" & an "S" :D So here is what I've managed to pickup...

My second and last "A" from the "DALLAS" lettermans..

This one is my first one from this set which is from the same jersey but from his name "DANIELS" on the back of the jersey

One little thing I wasn't happy with whoever was the owner of this card and marked it with a pen, this person is a bloody d!ckhead to be honest! He marked the card off with pen on the back on his name...picture below explains

Tell me why the hell you would do this...couldnt you write his name on a piece of paper and mark it off? This person doesnt have a brain! Idiot, but ahwell a 1/1 is a 1/1 but cannot think why someone would do that...

Anyway I'll end this mailday on a good note and show you the progress of the "DALLAS" lettermans :D

Looking goooood! ;) Thanks for checking em out people!

Very cool additions, congrats!! But serious who would write on a card in 2010? Sure it was the norm in the 70s, but surely no one would now (except maybe a little kid?)

That is awesome mate! I have always loved these cards.

Best of luck with getting the L,L and S letters

Yeah thanks mate, these are one of my favourite sets aswell...cant wait till I can maybe one day complete it :)

Tell me about it, I was looking it over and noticed it and started rubbing the top loader and it didnt come off :( and I was like, "noooo way its on the bloody card?"

mate they're 2 sick pickups!!! with the cross on the back i tell you what to do, get a cotton tip and some lynx deodorant...spray the lynx onto a table or something until it forms a liquid, dip the tip into the liquid then rub the cross of the back, be careful not to do it to much or it will start taking away the cardboard...or you could just leave it.

Thats either going to a) work perfectly, b) blow your house up or c) cause a mountain of dog crap to appear outside your front door. With slobby's advice you can just never tell :)

:lol Yeah i just don't know if I should trust that or not haha...im very tempted  For real Slobby? Sounds like it might smudge...

What I meant was draw on the X on the card, then you should be able to rub it off. But thats on a white board and hard materials, but it might ruin the cardboard :(

First off sick cards Nicko

As for the pen it was done by Topps from the factory. Alot of the old Topps Letterman cards have the cross above the letters, not too sure why though.
Here's one i pulled from a sealed box.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, well if thats the case I feel a bit better  Thats interesting, kind of like there own checklist or something...kind of strange, well if all the other cards have it I guess it's not sooo bad. Might email them to ask the question why, interested to know! Cheers Nick, good bit of info there bro :)

No probs brother, i was a little perplexed myself when i pulled it. I guess it was so they could keep tabs on what they put in each card when making them and don't put more than they have stamped in the cards.
