Anyone collect fanpacks??

just sent an email to the nuggets and hornets, will do more this weekend.

not expecting anything but worth a try i guess.
 
Hey Guys,

After a little while out, me and my mum have decided I can go on OCT to do everything except trade, buy and sell (so basically only post on the forum).

So seeing as I'm back and haven't replied to some questions in this thread here are the answers:

WARNEY: Lucky you, Adelaide haven't sent me anything.

WALSHY: No state teams except for N.S.W. They sent me a Phil Hughes card though!!

BRPLAT: Congrats on Panthers. I got a big season preview thing and a membership booklet, did you get the same??

GIRDS-: I got one a couple of weeks ago from the Roosters.

BRANDONR54: Go for it!! NBA teams are great just got two wicked ones from Pistons and Mavs!

JUDDCOLLECTOR: Unlucky with West Coast 'cos one person replied to me saying they do and they'll send me one. I got one and then requested for another for my friend and then got a reply saying what is a fanpack?!?!?! Weird.

OK so that does it. Hello OCT I'm back:):):)

Hey guy's!!! Glad to see clubs still do these. In the 80's i use to write (no emails in the olden days) away to Manly, and every year they would send back photo's, stickers, coaster's, stats/records sheets, banners etc. Use to run home from school expecting the pack to be there. I went back to my parents place this last xmas, and when going through some old boxes, found all the packs, still in the envelopes. All the photo's were preprints, but it was still exciting back then. I did find one personally signed Phil Blake (whom i asked for each year).
 
Yeah, it's so fun coming home and looking inside the letter box. Good to see that it's been going for a while and it's nice to think of someone going through all their packs they've collected during the 80's
 
I emailed all the cricket clubs, only the redbacks have replyed saying they don't do them.

Sick, what Phillip Hughes card?
 
same, so nsw came unexpected.... so just wait a couple of weeks and then if nothing pops up try again and again and again...... you get my point! it was this bad card that left a blank space for a signature but would be quite good for a PC.
 
cant get pics up but chances are you wont have it.

from the pistons i got some booklets you get for 2 bucks at the start of games, previewing the game. i also got a fake signature 8x10 photo of stuckley and i got a letter. i also got something else but i cant remember. from the mavs i got this awesome folder which opens up and inside was some booklets, a MASSIVE dirk nowitzki poster and some other flyers and stuff.

so from what ive got i cant wait to get some more american teams cos the baseball ones were pretty good aswell.
