hey guys im going to Canberra this weekend to watch my bulldogs play, does anyone know of any card shops or places that has a bigger than normal stock of afl/nba cards?

Also if there are any places anyone recommends i should visit then let me know :v:

the only place in canberra that sells cards is "Rock Wallaby" in tuggernong. they would have some cards but as i collect nrl not sure what afl and nba they will have. they do get series 2 cards from select. hope this helps

Depends what sort of stuff you are looking to do. If it is the normal tourist things, there are places like the War Memorial, Parliament House, National Museum, Questacon etc. Most of those places are free to get in.

For a good night out on Saturday you should go to the Raiders v Storm game, it will be much more entertaining than the AFL

A.I.S is great. You should definately go there! Cockington Gardens is quite good. But Questacon is awesome!

I went To canberra, about 4 weeks ago..
I went to A.I.S, Questecon, War Memorial, Parliment house..
I recommend you got too all of these

Depends what sort of stuff you are looking to do. If it is the normal tourist things, there are places like the War Memorial, Parliament House, National Museum, Questacon etc. Most of those places are free to get in.

and yea i went with school about 4 years ago (to canberra) and i went to AIS, questacon, museum ect. I wanted to go to the AIS again but by looking on the net i could only find that you could just take tours and they were not cheap. And i cant do alot as im only there for the weekend to watch doggies vs sydney.

Yes, 7:30 kick off. There are usually free busses to the stadium for the game.

Canberra Centre is one of our bigger shopping centres and is right in the CBD.

For NBA Cards, there is Dee's comics and Books in Belconnen (about five minutes by car/bus from the A.I.S).... unfortunately, she had no new stock as of last week, but she is ordering in the latest stuff out (Studio, probably classics and Greats of the Game also) so it might be in now. i'll be ducking out tomorrow to mail stuff out, so i'll check in. Canberra Centre is the biggest shopping centre in the ACT - at the moment. Once Belconnen westfields is complete... could be a different story. As to AFL cards ... most newsagents down here stock them.

Just been to Dee's comics and she's got in new store stock. Prestige (retail and hobby), Threads and Rookies & Stars (retail and hobby). She's also got Studio, Elite retail and Panini base - but i've claimed those boxes.
