UPDATE 5/5/10
after arriving in amsterdam and absolutely freezing our asses off in the 5 degree temp not including wind chill, its warmed up a little. 2day was 12 degrees
and this is 1 month before summer
I could not live here. sun is still out and its nearly 9.30pm and still have almost an hour left of daylight
Definately has been an eye opener. the history of the places is amazing
We had dinner in a place that was originally built in the 1300's
red light district is a bit of an eye opener but not as bad as thailand
and the special cakes arent as common as everyone believes

the windmills, not as common as you were to believe. these are more historical than functional

Anyways been into 5 countries since last post.
Toured Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liecthenstein??? (spelling) all 15mins of driving through ( still counts) and currently in Paris, France
I have definately schnitzelled myself out in Germany and have had enough spag bol that i wont be able to have it in Italy
If anyone goes to Munich though you have to go into the Hofbrauhouse. Best beer and close to the cheapest when you get the 1 liter steins
