PS3 NBA2K13 Online Association

Re: PS3 NBA2K10 Online Season

Sorry Digz I couldn't connect to 2K sports so played some association instead. Wade posted a ridiculous triple-double. 53 points, 13 boards, 16 assists and 2 steals against the #1 Cavs.

Cheers... I'm over the moon to get that trade. D.Wade is an absolute gun but hey it's Kobe. In my view the best player in the NBA & my favourite player. Can't wait to play a game with KB24.

Re: PS3 NBA2K10 Online Season

And once again I can't get onto the PS3 network. What's going on.

Was having the same problem last night, kept getting the DNS error blah blah blah. Its annoying in this day and age you can't have something that works when you want it too

Re: PS3 NBA2K10 Online Season

Had a great game against Digeze. It went back and forth for the first half while he held the lead normally by about 3-5 points. I capitalized off his misses in the 3rd to take an 11 point lead but he brought it back to within 2 going into the 4th.

I kept the lead at about 5 with the minutes winding down, before Aaron Brooks hit a 3 to take it out to 8 and force a timeout. Digeze rallied back but I didn't get the lead get less than 5 and then about 3 turnovers in a row by him lead to me taking it out.

Really happy with the win, because it's my first win against Digz despite having all of our matches so far come down to the last few minutes. Also have been notoriously bad at closing games, having lost to Swish, Katmagic and Zelmeister among others despite having held double digit leads earlier in the game.

Also good cause I needed it for playoff seeding after breaking down mentally in other games when I should have put them away. I was expecting this to be a loss so this helps my cause.

Had good all-round contributions (4 players with 12 points or more) to go with Rudy Gay's 44.

Had trouble containing Michael Redd though, 6/9 on 3's and most of them contested too. Ridiculous!

Re: PS3 NBA2K10 Online Season

No idea what your problem is. Looks like Miami is fighting hard to steal home-court from Boston.

Yeah that 2nd game was bloody close and very competitive! Gonna be tough from here, gotta snatch a road game now!

Re: PS3 NBA2K10 Online Season

Got a good story for you guys who have had bad playing experiences with Swish_130. But don't worry it has a good ending.

If you can't be bothered to read the whole thing, just know that I made him quit the game with 3:00 left in the 4th quarter, up 94-70.

For those who can be bothered to read, here we go:

So he messages me and says "practice game?".

Just mucking around for most of the 1st. I was thinking I'll stick around for 1/2 the game then when he gets annoying just quit, since it's not a league game. I'm up 22-21 and he hits a trey with Ben Gordon on the buzzer at the end of the 1st. He then goes to instant replay and makes sure that I've seen the replay at least 3 times. So at the start of the 2nd I think hey - I'm going to get beat this guy good.

When he tries to play isolation with Stephen Jackson, I quickly change the defense on the fly to a 2-3 zone, so instead he passes to Mehmet Okur for a dunk but Dalembert blocks him clean; a major block! So I instant replay and make sure he see's it twice. Then he shoots it into the back of the backboard with Matt Howard and gets called for out of bounds, so once again I instant replay twice.

I can tell he's getting annoyed by this point.

Later when an Aaron Brooks pass goes straight through Dalembert's hands out of bounds he makes sure to let me see it again a few times.

So anyway we keep playing, we're both using our starting lineup and I'm holding a lead of about 6-10 for most of the game. Rudy Gay is doing his thing, and Tracy McGrady is shooting the ball insane. I couldn't see the box score when he quit, but I can guesstimate that McGrady had about 26-30 points including at least 6 or 7 triple's.

Late in the 3rd I'm up by about 15, and he drives baseline with Stephen Jackson. I kid you not on what happened next. Tracy McGrady bumps Jackson to force him into a tough shot, and Al Jefferson comes over on help side defense.

HE SWATS THE BALL INTO THE 10TH ROW!

Like I have never seen such a huge block on 2K10 before, the ball literally flew out into the crowd faster than I have seen it in any other game I've played before. He sticks with it and tries to get back in it in the 4th with his isolation cheesing but I've learnt how to stop it and he gets no good results.

The lead reaches 94-70 with 3 minuets left, he realizes he can't win so he quits.

After hearing the rude message he sent Katmagic after their game I'm expecting a "**** YOU" or something like that. Instead I get: "good game. I've got dinner, play after?" I couldn't believe it. This guy can't even admit that he's lost, he is lying to himself...
