trip for the ages

have been working on this for about a year and a half now

probably the no 1 thing ive wanted to do ever

as of 17 april i'm off to europe for 2 months

doing it chevy chase style to

arrive in amsterdam, see the sights in the netherlands

then move to germany, where we have a campervan organised

road trip through germany, austria and switzerland. (wonder how fast a camper would go around the nurbergring )

once we get rid of the camper the next country is then france.

after seeing paris, nice and monaco we slip across to italy

main stays at pisa, florence, venice, rome and capri

that then finishes the europe end but on the way home

stop off to see egypt and the pyramids

and lastly a couple of days in toyko to finish before coming home

pumped big time for this. time is flying by and so much still have to plan

we went to Italy in 2008. if youre in Pisa be sure to head a little further North on the coast to a place called Cinque Terra. Its 5 towns perched on the coastal cliffs. If you go there you will never regret it. Best part of our holiday hands down!

make sure if you go that you take a walk at sunset - just beautiful!

I got a ford Fiesta up to 190kph and had something go past me like I was standing still. I say something because whatever it was had passed me and disappeared before I could even blink.

Sounds absolutely awesome! Only been to Europe once, and it was for only 2 weeks.

Could love to go there every year for a few weeks and explore somewhere new every year.

Maybe when I am a bit older and the kids are no longer at home.......gonna be a long long time away

Just remember to delete the homemade x-rated video off your camcorder before you give it to someone to film you with it.

I did 195kph just over the QLD border into NT and that was enough. Slowed down cause I never wanted a roo in ma lap...
