the 06 supreme was close with the low numbering of the draft sigs and brownlow predictors, but dynasty gets it with the 1:2 box platinums, at the price some of these platinums sell for its hard to look past. must say though, both brownlow predictors and platinums are very awesome cards!
i agree with the design part but only the base cards and aa's were a bit boring. the draft pick sigs and platinums are very impressive when you look at what the draft pick sigs are looking like these days. but yeah, i also like the 08 classics.
I found that i was not a fan at all of the 05 platinums i got the 2 pies ones i needed but other than that would not be interested in them. I think from a design aspect 2006 is easily the best ever release maybe it has to do with the quality of players in that draft as well

For me 06 Supreme gets the nod for great overall design and choice of inserts.
I think in the years to come (say 10 years down the track) there really won't be much price difference between plats and BPs... both are numbered to 100 (plats to 110... close enough), and BPs look exceptionally sexy.
Not to mention the DPSs in 2006, low numbered and once again beautifully designed

platinums were to 130 not 110 mate, but yeah good point, in 10 years the brownlow predictors & platinums will probably be around the same value. strange though, some real big names in the brownlow predictors, ablett, judd, cousins, reiwoldt, hodge, etc etc the list goes on, and for some reason the platinums are still pulling better money, im guessing that will change in 10 years time.

Today it was so frustrating for me, it is a Public Holiday today in the west and i was working at a cricket carnival selling food and drinks. We were selling Samboy chips with the footyplays in them. I saw these kids eating the chips and pulled out a tazo, a Gold logo West Coast, i wanted it but wasn't going to ask. Later in the day i walked past them again and saw it lying on the floor and badly damaged. I can't help to amazing how many of these were broken or thrown away. Lol

whats your reason mate? but i see where your coming from, great price, a first series with draft pick sigs is always a good thing. i like the tradition base cards too, simple old school design but it works. and barry 'big bad bazza' hall and nick 'im a big sook' reiwoldt redemptions too, cant beat that in a first series. 05 and 06 had the best first series by a long way, the last 3 champions have nothing on traditon and 06 series 1.
