That game really frustrated me for some reason. At the end of the third i had given up and just started throwing shots from where ever when ever

There were a few points where i could feel a come back happening but would lose concentration and fall apart, felt like head butting a wall. I couldn't believe some of the shots you were making with 3 players in your face, how are you supposed to defend that?

Meh just 1 more loss added to the many

On a different note, regarding the history books and stats keeping etc.

What kind of other things should we keep, any good ideas?

We've recorded triple-doubles, maybe keep the top 3 leaders in each major statistical category at seasons end (points, boards, assists, steals, blocks, maybe percentages?)

How do you guys feel about voting on/electing an All-NBA 1st Team and an All-Defensive 1st Team? This could be based on regular season performance but also given team success a bit of weighting? Or maybe one All-NBA Team for the East and one for the West, the top five players in each conf.

e.g. East would be something like Rondo, Wade, Iggy, LeBron and Dwight (roughly just off the top of my head)
West is harder to pick with lots of losing teams but maybe Nash, Kobe, Melo, Durant, Yao

The five best players the season has had, two guards, two forwards and one center and maybe an honourable mention?

I feel so attached to my team haha. But seriously a cool idea?

Yeah i wouldnt mind doing that but to get everyone to do that may be asking a bit much duno if people would take it seriously enough

Was great to get on and take on the leader of the pack.

That first half was intense and whilst I was down ten points at half time felt I was pushing you out of your comfort zone a little, whilst really running this Hawks team to their limits, was great fun.

Thanks again for allowing the extra long pause was very good sportsmanship.

Unfortunately the third quarter I couldn't keep pace with you and was trying to cuddle/settle a little guy and continue the game. Was a little dissapointed with my second half effort as I thought I was a real chance to keep it under a 20 point loss but that third qtr hurt me bad and from thee playing catchup and you had me out of my comfort zone.
Managed to find some Joe Johnson groove in the fourth which I will take into the future games and Teague off the bench pulled off some good moves.

Oh and you killed me on the boards damn Perkins, KG, Sheed!

Still a great contest and look forward to playing each other again.

Yeah cheers mate, was a very enjoyable game and i was supprised those 3 fellas cleaned the glass first time they have done that in awhile! I reckon i could see you being one of the better players if you started from scratch...and yeah Johnson definately had his stroke going in the end there! good stuff mate

That's true. It's something 2K could look to put into their online system that the computer automatically generates - because that could be seriously cool.

Any thoughts on that?

Yeah its def a good idea i reckon but will be hard to organise, would you make so you couldnt vote for your own players and maybe only give the playoff teams votes? I dunno throwing it out there

Not voting for your own players is probably the way to go.

Maybe discount any ridiculous votes, but most of them would seem pretty obvious.

I'm not sure about the only playoff teams or not, for the East it's pretty easy to see who should be in, the West is a bit harder as there are lots of stat-killing guys and only (at the moment) one really good winning team.

yeah true east is stacked with winning %'s and west has guys dominating on teams like ming etc. could be a possibilty but would have a bit of work going into...by the way who is keeping on the stats?

Haha yeah it's not too bad. Since we've played most of our games the stats don't change that much.

I have my eye on who I think may be my first round pick. Hopefully it's not the same as who you were thinking!

After the first 2 rounds it is seriously depressing though.

Yeah don't steal my pick! Man I just looked at the Centers...there are only 5 rated 80 or above! My chances of getting a top C are small to none

That's true, but there are also some solid Power Forwards that could be played at Center.

Yeah, principally Billups' 11 treys in a game stat

Oh, and I'm sure there are some other decent stats and such around

Yeah the time I can do although I would have preferred earlier in the day e.g. 3 PM.

I start uni the next day so a bit excited/nervous about that. That being said luckily I don't start till 12 so that's good.

Pffft...my first year I had 27 contact hours semester 1! And my Monday, and therefore first ever Monday, was 10am-10pm! Uni students are soft these days (That said, I'm still only 25 )

Got some gay gaps in between classes but didn't want to come in another additional day.

Im studying Fire Technology and another course in Sustainability...aim is to eventually get into the Metro Fire Brigade, but will have to settle for a job in the fire industry first i reckon, bloody hard to get in! Yeah its best to knock classes out in one go! What you studying?
