Defensively i think you do fine, maybe just play around with some different defenses to adjust to mid range players as i have to myself.

Thanks for the feedback, I know this season my mid-range and perimeter game has been lacking. I think in terms of mid-range you are arguably the best player on the boards mate, your patience on offense has seen you beat Nenj and stay with guys like Digeze on a regular basis.

Thanks for the tips Ben, your defense is flat out good man. Yeah I'm intrigued to see what it will be like with a different team and players, it's a whole different ball game when you have players who can do what the current can't.

Hey Jimbo and Nick I'd have to play you and then straight away tell you about improvements because i really dont have a great memory :razz: but its all about the D i reckon, but im happy to play an exhibition game against you if you want sometime seeing i have no games left against you guys :)

I can't fully remember both our games mate but I think from what I do remember - your fairly new to the game? So the first time I blew you out, second time I can't really remember.

When your new to the game though you just need to keep playing. Play lots of games against the computer and find out what your strengths are. For me I'm generally a swingman kind of guy, and that translates from playing against the comp, to playing online.

With more practice all facets of your game will improve. That said you've done a pretty good job using Westbrook and Durant. Harden launches too many 3's in my opinion, and it's not that he can't make them - but with 3's you need to get the right rhytmn and timing.

Other than that you probably need to develop your low-post game a bit as I can't remember many of your players scoring in double digits in the post. That's probably due to the Thunder not having great low-post players though, so before the next draft I would advise practicing with some higher rated bigs (80+) to see how you are controlling them as you would inevitably want to pick one.

I think for the team you have you are doing quite well.

I played you on day 1 of the season and my first reaction was that you were pretty good but forcing up too many 3's.

You were in plenty of close games but somehow skipped out to an 0-12 record which didn't reflect how you played at all. Have seen that you have now won 5 straight games and last night we were in a very tight game until it dropped out so i think you have figured out how to play with OKC quite well. You don't seem to force shots anymore and are quite competitive.

Your hand is sort of forced with OKC as your dominant inside presence is in the form of Kristic, Collison and BJ Mullens which forces you to have a killer outside game. You'll find if you can pick up a reasonable C in the draft your outside game can become even more effective.

Monday would be fanastic. I can't make this weekend as I'll be away on a retreat with my mates from Church. Friday Night - Sunday Night. So HOPEFULLY the draft won't be then cause I'll be a major player in next season and would hate for the comp to do mine :(

Cheers boys, yeah definately lacking any real post players. The guys i have just can't hit shots inside when the d's on them and the rebounding seems a bit lacklustre.

You're right about the mid long range game OKC seem made for that style of play and i seem to be finding the righ times to shoot now aswell which has made a huge improvement in the game for me. Harden is a little too on/off, he can nail 6 3's straight then go cold instantly as with Durant he has his days. I really like Westbrook as his speed and passing ability is great but not a great defender.

I would love to play more exhibition games against you better players to trey and get my game on point so hit me up when ever im on ;)

What's everybody thoughts? I know it's been advertised as an all-aussie league. NZ is practically Australia anyways isn't it?

How greatly will connections be affected?

Ive only played you once but as everyones said and i feel the same, when we played it felt like you were chucking up hard shots to make, it sort of felt like you were forcing it, but by the looks of it youve found spots your players can make shots and your starting to make your shots so next game should be a good one. Sucks because OKC dont have a presence inside, but id suggest use Ibaka for defense and DJ for inside there probably the better players even though there ratings dont show it.

As for the draft i think there will be a need for strategy to plan which players people will need to pick, some people wont be as lucky to get so many talented players and as deep as they are now, while others will pick up gems and really help them out. Myself personally will be looking probably first for an inside presence and a big defender, then i will put shooters around him, i dont know who exactly but thats my strategy going in.

Will see what I can do :D Get our League game done, finally! :lol: And open for Exhibition games anytime after that.

Yer, just wondering if the lag issue would be that much different to being in Sydney and playing Howey in WA or someone else in Tasmania???
