MMA all the way!!
A typical MMA card goes for 2 - 3 hours. During that time you will see 6 or more fights, all with 'well known' fighters. The 'undercard' fights in MMA can often outshine the main event.
A typical boxing event has an undercard made up of 'up and coming' fighters that most of the viewing audience would not yet be familiar with. The undercard often seems to comprised of any randoms that the promoter could throw together.
With a boxing event, it is all about the main event. If that turns out to be a fizzer then the whole event is crap.
With MMA, there would often be multiple fights on each event that I would be looking forward to seeing.
After watching Mundine v Green, I vowed that I would no longer make an effort to watch boxing. I might watch a replay on youtube, but not worth the effort of organising PPV or going to a pub etc.
