It doesnt have the adidas logo because its probably a authentic jersey which are meant for being used in games. If you watch games, you see the jerseys players are wearing also do not have the adidas logo embroided.
And even if you are right, what does it matter? It's a jersey, a nice one, with auto and the guy is happy. Why give him a ****ty feeling and ruin it?

Mate, if it is a game jersey like the players wear it wouldn't have a tag on the back of the neck would it? those jerseys are 300+ USD so think about it, if it was me i'd ask for a refund and send it back, just doesn't look authentic which makes me wonder if the autograph is authentic. Who's it authenticated by Upper Deck, PSA/DNA etc ?

Likely an IP auto on a brand new fan merchandise jersey. Nothing wrong with that and if he believes it to be real, then what does it matter either way? He'll never sell it so it doesn't matter!
I have a Jazz signed jersey, no COA, but the autos look legit and I believe them to be so I'm happy.

Got the jersey off Ebay, Through "celebrity Gallery" comes with a COA. there are some loose threads on jersey but no biggie.... COA states " The authenticity of the item of hand signed memorabilia is unconditionally guaranteed to be authentic for life"
also states that it is guaranteed to pass further inspection by a third party authenticator or your money back!
All in all im pretty happy will look good once its hung!!!
