I think u kinda answered you own question

one lot is /199, another /88

some are /8

and then the almighty Diamond 1/1

Another slight difference is the border colours
regular - silver
199 - gold
88- black (onyx)
8 - red (ruby)
1 - light blue (diamond)

what they should have done imo is have the un# 1 colour, the #/199 2 clr, #/88 3 clr etc. that would have made it a lot more interesting and collectable
