Has anyone seen the first three episodes yet? what are your thoughts on the series so far?

haha yer. ep 3 the only interesting part was the last 10 seconds. I will give it a go for a few more eps to see if it leads anywhere or if it tgurns out to be a BSG.


also, I am begining to wonder why the **** did they cancel SGA when it was getting good.

I watched the 1st 3 eps and i LOVE this show. Its alot different to any other stargate, The characters are really great, It isnt all buddy buddy kind of stuff. And the longer arching story line i like alot better than how SG1 used to be with just 1 episode and done stories.

I know Atlantis was soooo goood!

Only problem was I had the impression they were starting to run out of ideas... but if they continued the way they were going it wouldve been awesome

are you kidding? not at all. SCI-FI to stingy to pay the actors the $$$ they deserve. Also they claimed people just download it and nto watch it on TV.

fair point. why not release it straight to DVD?


Sure I download stargate now. But that is because it isn't on TV here. When it hits DVD I buy them.

Plus a million other TV shows haha. I can't help myself walking to JB and seeing $20-$25 a season for a tv show. talk about a bargain.

Yeah, I haven't seen any of it yet. But the short clips of it that I have seen, and the main cast, doesn't get me too excited. And I LOVED SG-1 and Atlantis! But from what I saw, theres no Ronon/Tealc type, and no Teyla, either... Hell, I'd even settle for a Rodney McKay!

yes it is a different animal. I hope they realise they need to bring back Atlantis haha.

however I won't give up on it yet, may get interesting.

Looks good, but not as good as SG-1. Watched every ep of that but never watched atlantis... perhaps I should.

I hear ya.............i have both stargate movies, all 10 seasons as box sets, all five seasons of atlantis and I have watched the first 4 eps of universe and i don't think i will be travelling to the USA each week to watch more.

BUT on a Syfy note, I watched Battlestar Galactica - The Plan this morning, that is gonna be controversial.
