B.Cousins Mailday: What Could have been my greatest!!

Unlucky man. I too like Ben Cousins, but his off field antics are really starting to annoy me. Obviously it started with his drug use etc, but the bird to the camera and now this are almost enough to ad him to my most hated players list.

Funny thing is, if he had of just said no in the first place, it wouldnt have been so bad, but the fact he got your hopes up, and then crushed them to make a bit of extra money is pretty disappointing....

Good luck with it man!!

Cheers

Unlucky mate, He must be all about the money now, But IMO if i where a player i wouldn't promise anyone that ill sell it to him, i would frame all my milestone game jerseys, BTW GMB#8 its gonna come at a price cause ill be in for a dig.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the price you tentatively agreed for the jersey?

If you ask me, Ben is well within his rights to get whatever he wants for it. A signed jumper like that would clear the $1000 mark comfortably, particularly if he auctioned it off at a key event such as a Grand Final function or the Richmond B&F. I know people are cynics, but Ben has recently auctioned a heap of gear for charity, so you never know.

Whatever the reason, it's laughable that you would consider to stop collecting your favourite player because he wouldn't give you a match worn guernsey, despite any word or mouth agreements (which aren't worth sh!t, particularly when you're talking about exclusive memorabilia).

cuz is a dooche off field i have so many storys about him being aragent and pig headed just adds to the list in my books
sorry to hear champ

thanks guys for the comments.
I've had my little whinge lol and am now over it after a few good nights sleep!!

The Cuzzy hunt is on now!!
Still dissapointed that it didn't work out well, but always knew that this guernsey was probly too good to be true at the price i was getting it for and surprised it wasn't auctioned earlier at the luncheon he did. Understand wanting more for it, but dissapointing part was that it was promissed to myself.

Ah well!
Cheers guys, still hunting a match worn for my 18th and to top my collection.
But maybe it will have to be a belated gift to myself, as they are not easy to find.
Who knows, may work out better in the end if i can track down a wce one??
... time will tell

Watch out for my next mailday,
should be a good one!
