I love these little debates...I know there's still a little bit left of 2009...but I figured we could start the conversation now and if anything startling pops up we can add it in later.

I thought the best place to start might be the list of Best Picture nominees and winners from the Academy Awards....the pics may not be everyone's cup of tea but they are generally a good starting off point.

Inglourious Basterds. 24 Hours before I see Inglourious Basterds for the first time, I'm confident that the movie of the decade is in fact, Inglourious Basterds.

ooh tough to pick, soo many good movies in the last decade.....

let the right one in, no country for old men, children of men, v for vendetta, sin city, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, finding nemo, oldboy, amelie, spirited away, snatch, memento, requiem for a dream, LOTR trilogy.....

dont know if i can rank them, and im sure ive missed heaps of awesome films in there.....

i dont know why but i like chick flicks!! marley and me, city of angels (i was a blink away from crying..i nearly cried in Terminator 2 though when arnie went into the lava), the lake house....slobby's quite partial to the chick flick!!! Transformers 1 & 2 are up there but Road To Perdition makes me wanna go out and take revenge on pretty much everybody, office space cracked me up when they beat the sh!t out of the photocopier...and all Marvel movies are SICK!

Ok guys.....winners hands down.......
