Just sent out a few updates;

• League contact List: New heat GM has been invited and should be up and running soon

• Sliders Update: A Few changes made and why since there's been some interest, feedback and complaints

What do you guys think about extending round 1 by 1 week to make time for the new GM to get his games in? Technically, this round will then have run for three weeks and if possible would be the only round extended beyond 2 weeks.

Hopefully everyone is active from here on out and we won't have no problems with the schedule.

these new sliders suck man, how the hell does roy score 89 points and gets 21/32 3pt goals? its a joke, should be the way it was before... cus it aint realistic at all if thats what ur after.

Relax mate. This is a guy that's been playing in the league for a total of 2 hours now. I've played Woobie 4 times since last night and we're getting pretty realistic results. If any of us wanted to, we could all go for 80 with any of our star players...

I'll have a talk to this guy, 89 points from one player is definitely a no no. I don't think we'll be seeing this again. Just a heads up, in the future make sure you complain to us and let us know but it did look like he got hot from outside, that's more to do with clutch factor than anything we've changed.

The slight changes to outside shooting would not make that dramatic an effect and it definitely hasn't in the games I've played so far.

If you check my stats ppg so on, it would be as if your reading stats from a all-star weekend game. Points shared, I don't think I even have a player scoring over 19+ ppg. Why does he get away with it? I think I smell a 100+ game from tmac coming next game.. like you said its easy enough.. why not do it then?

this game should really be replayed in the spirit of gamesmanship. also, he is a newbie so we can excuse him for overusing roy for now.

also surprising to see that you play steve nash so little in the game. if anyone is guilty of having it easy behind the 3 point line, it is nashty. so i am surprised to see him miss all 3 attempts from beyond the line.

didn't have much choice for nash in the game, wouldn't hit nothing and well I thought paul is a better defender and may actually steal 1 out of 1000 passes to brandon roy thoughout the game (who i didnt think go off for the whole game). yeh the controller was thrown on the ground a couple of times lol.. but hey it happens when your up by 20+ at one point then the other user decides to destroy you with one single player.. to then win by 20+. a 40 point turnaround in 15 mins total. lol he was unguardable too. surprised it wasn't roy himself behind the controller.. ah well get that i guess. im willing to trade all my players. need a player to defend roy..

He doesn't. Simple. I'm resetting the game and suggesting he re-read the rules, play a few practice games against us and then you guys can slog it out again in hopefully a better and more enjoyable game for the both of you. Happy?

I had to head out for a few hours before so I never had time to really address the problem. If there is a problem with someone blatantly breaking a rule as was the case here, it will be dealt with. And, if it continues to occur, and as much as I don't want to have to do it, a player will be dropped. Even if we don't have a replacement waiting.

Like I said mate, in future, if there's a complaint of this nature, please email us. Getting a little heated and blaming the sliders in here won't help you.

Anyway, hope it's all good now.

One thing I'll add is he only had 44 points in the paint for the entire game amongst a whopping 139 points scored. That's amongst the bottom 6 in the league over a combined total of 3 or more games played. I like the fact that he's shooting from outside and that's what the minor changes to the sliders were supposed to encourage. But still, 139 points and only 3 players in double figures, one who goes for 89 points is unrealistic and not on.

Thanks for the heads up and I wasn't dissing the system I guess I didn't come across as I was meaning to. Just out of curiousity.. 75 points from the arc is ok but? Just a bit confused, again I'd rather not the trouble in a re-match if its been reset a sim for the game is ok enough. I wasn't whining about the sliders aswell mate it was suppossed to be made out like joking sarcasm.. :v:

Seriously mate, I'd rather it be replayed. If we have that rule in place and someone breaks it and someone who is up holding and respecting the rules get's a loss, what the point in having the rules?

I don't want you to replay it if you don't want to, at the same time I can't let it slide. The only option if you don't want to replay it is a random sim and even then It would suck for whoever loses. Letting this slide just leaves anyone open to follow his lead. You with me?

Mind you, we're extending the round by another week so it's not like the game has to be played by sunday night. Let me know what you think.

AS for the Roy 89 pointer this def should be replayed.... or simmed that's my 2 cents..

I'd want the game replayed too as a fellow leaguer. Because that sort of play is left to the other leagues out there. Did you try double teaming roy in the 3rd quarter onwards in the settings bar? I find that those subtle changes can make a big difference (even though i personally don't tweak with defence settings, it seems to work against me when my opponents do it).

Nah leave it as it is, a warning or something to deter from this happening again would be good but. Yeh tried double team/deny ball/play tight.. all. 3-2 zone 1-3-1.. didnt wanna make a fuss out of it like it has I only just thought it should be looked upon. Im nearly outta d/l u/l space for the month so I wanna limit my xbox live atm for the next week ive played all my games so far + if yas are doing an extension that would work great on my behalf too.
