Hope Everyone thats putting their hands up for boxes knows that its usually about 150 or more for a box.

last year the boxes were less than $140. If they dont have sigs this year i dont see how select could justify the same price.

They were in either the 03 or 04 series i think. I remember their were nrl ones to. One of which was lockyer.

I'm putting my money on Captain Signature Cards... following on from ovation

Now about 6-10 different captain since 2004

last split was 7 cards per 10 cases in 2004 Ovation... I think they will still have the Draft signatures...

im not going to be in as i dont collect AFL cards but as im sure you all know the case cards are usually pretty valuable.

Guess it needs to be sold to make the boxes cheaper or given to 1 of the box buyers by a random draw

The dramas involved in organising a case share is more worth than a $40 case card imo.

Spoke to Select today and they are in the final processes of printing the cards as we speak. Should be out within the next few weeks. I thought there would have been more info leading up to the release on the website...to create hype and whatnot.

there never is, its always rumours everywhere and then a week or 2 b4 release the sell sheet comes out, select seem to be pretty useless when it comes to promoting their new releases

yeah dude, I got that information I posted FROM Select. I called them up about a few redemption card questions and also asked about the upcoming series. She said 'In the next couple of weeks'. Whether that's rubbish or not is not my problem, It's what I was told.

Having done quite a few case shares in the past I can say you are spot on with your thoughts!
That said the site rules are pretty clear on this so unless all involved in the Case Share agree to give it to the organiser AND Admin agree to it then it won't happen. The last AFL Case Share I did had everyones name in a hat and the winner of the Case Card drawn out by a person not involved in the Case Share.

Having done about 6 Case Shares now My opinion on this is if someone is doing a Case Share and sells the boxes at cost (Like GOMOTO does) then they should get the Case card for their troubles.

Richo / smit - thanks for the kind words guys. But l will need to find out the release date/costs and get an ok from the mods/admins before this can go ahead.
I will invite another member over before cracking open to cases to make sure everything is above board.
