Hey guys i was just wondering who you thought was the best true CHF over the past 10 years
personally i think If Warren Tredrea wasn't injured in 2005 he would have still dominated over the last few years. but for me its great to see that he has hit some form of late

also probably big JB would have to be up there
what do you think?

It would have to be Jonathan Brown hands down. 3 Premierships to his name! However none of these guys even come close to 'The King'!

Lol but hey we are biast arent we Power for Pysing lol... I do think JB but i think Tredrea in his day is an equal to Riewoldt...

Treadrea 236 games Goals 517 Avg 2.2 a game
Brown 169 Games Goals 367 Avg 2.1 a game
Riewoldt 161 Games 323 Goals Avg 2.0 a game

yah ADZ Tredrea = Legend he has been my favourite player for the last 10 years
i spose you would realize that living in a town where the media only looks after one team being the crows that he has kicked the most goals out of any player in history at footy park. Better than modra and what have dud players the crows have he was and is the BEST

mine to mate, my fav player since the start! And no suprise my fav card is the Tredrea Game breaker sig!

Dont even get me started about the media and the bloody crows!! The attention the cros gets over Port is a joke... But yer dont open a can or worms with me on that subject!
Best forward SA has produced!

yeah i wish i could get my hands on that beautiful card im on the lookout for one at the moment
yer and the bloody media apparently according to them taylor walker is the best player Adelaides ever seen
what a joke
and hey cheers for the info about the averages on those three forwards.
Tredders has had so many bad injuries which means long roads to recovery and not the best form yet he has averaged more goals a game than rewoildt and brown
He is a super star our tredders

Yer took me ages to get that card. only ever saw 2 EVER on ebay, 1 of which i got. Great looking card and redemption to.

Yer he really is... Shame i doubt he'll make the 300 game club. He really deserves to.

Lets see how Taylor Walker stats stack up at the end of his career... Cant see him kicking 500 + goals!

yeah im finding the card really hard to buy i was bidding on one and forgot and it only went for around $260 great buy for that card.
yeah taylor walker has had one good half and yet from the media he gets youd think his god lol

Honestly i am sick and tired of all these Power supporters who complain about the media attention the crows get. I mean its only logical. The crows own about 65-70% of the football support in the state, thus more readership, thus more paper sales. Neither the Crows nor the AFL own the media and the media write what they are going to write.
Secondly Tredrea got his fair share of media back when he started his career and was treated like a god back then as well. The papers are a day to day thing and will write about whats hot.
Finally lets just look at Modras stats:

165 Games (Adelaide/Fremantle) 588 Goals= 3.6 goals per game

even if you want to break it down to just the Crows.....

118 Games 421 Goals= 3.6 goals per game

Hmmmmmmmmmm seems to me they speak for themself.

yeah still he hasn't kicked the most goals also
tredrea has had two serious knee injuries a shoulder reco and many other yet while modra was playing at the crows he had minimal injuries.
also when he played the game of football seemed to have player that were the main target and the crows always looked for him and nowdays the key forwards arent the only ones that score goals where as back then they looked for him.
and yeah we do complain a bit but we have the right what have crows done in the last 10 years to port who have accomplished so much more so year we might have a winge but we have a bloody point

yes bordermail i beleive the tommahwk will be a great player i love watching him play because he is so raw but he is humongous and will be a super player in the future.

Here we go again another poor little old port story. Port has got some bad small man syndrome and will not further itself as a club until it can get over that. Yes port have won more premierships in the lst 10 years (a whole 1....... whoopee), but your success as a club as a whole has been dismal because you put egos before football.
By the way Modra had a knee recon in 1997 and missed the rest of that year and 90% of 1998. He also started when he was 23 years old as compared to Tredders who started when he was 18 so i think those extra 5 years more than evens it out. Not saying Tredders aint a good player, which even i think he is, just saying you need to give it some perspective and get your head out of your bum.

how can anyone not have said the man himself "RICHO", he has been such a star in a struggling side, if he had kicked the easy goals he has missed he could have kicked 1000 by now, and tom (power for pysing) you are whinging about port although the media is a bit biased, but i think if tredrea doesnt finish the season too well or gets another injury, hes a gonner. probs J Brown the best going around ATM

Pav isn't a true CHF, he has played more deep and in the midfield/defence than anyone else.

I don't even think it's that close, Jonothan Brown is an absolute Superstar, has there been many other CHF win the Coleman medal? Buddy isn't a CHF either, he played most of last year deep forward and coming out of the square.

Actually i take it back. It has to be Richo! Anyone who can kick over 800 goals in a team such as Richmond has to be a Superstar. Go the Richo Machine!

that is ture. but from about 2004-2006 he was kicking 60 goals a season, getting 10 marks per game. He may not be the greatest over th last 10 years certainly a true CHF in those years.

Once kicked 9 goals in a game with 21 marks. Classic pav :)
