Hi Everyone,

I would like to firstly introduce myself to everyone and I'm sure many of you may already know me as Ebay User Name Hanizena. This is the first time I have got around to checking this site out and think that it is a great way to share experiences and communicate to other card collectors.

Some of you might know that I collect Michael Jordan cards in particular but also collect Shaq, Zo, Hakeem and David Robinson cards. I sell alot of my cards in particular MJ on Ebay and as some of you have already mentioned in previous discussions that some of my auctions seem to sell for alot higher than other sellers (thank you Needforspeed for mentioning it)and I am truly fortunate when this happens as it doesn't always.

Some of you may recall the 07/08 MJ Fleer 200 card set I sold a couple of weeks ago for a little over $300 and alot of you queried the possibility of me using shilling accounts (exzibit3) and (intha90's) and I would like to clear up those statements made and state that I have never used shilling accounts
on any of my EBAY auctions and just to prove it I sold the exact same set last weekend for just a little over $100. I just happened to be lucky with the first one as someone from the US was really interested in this set.

I am open to anyone with feedback whether positive or negative within reason regarding my auctions or cards on EBAY and I am certain that if you ask anyone I have sold cards to that they were satisified as I make every effort possible to meet customers total satisfaction. I probably do the majority of my selling to international customers and (my feedback demonstrates that) who have become accustomed to my service and appreciate the efforts I go to meeting their needs and also its cheaper to buy as the Aussie dollar is alot weaker than the US$. I even allow some of the bidders a 2-3 week window for them to combine postage and save money so they bid on multiple auctions. In regards to my postage fees those that deal with me will know that once their invoice reaches $100 postage is FREE and registered.

In regards to the MJ lot I purchased a couple of months ago for $3000US off ebay which Needforspeed also mentioned thanks, yes I agree with you all that I did pay too much for that and obviously trying to learn from my mistake.

I am more than happy to give anyone wanting tips or advice on listing on EBAY help and assistance so thanks again for those of you who have watched my auctions in the past and I hope that I am able to share my experiences with those of you who are interested.

Thanks Hani

Hi Hani,

Welcome to one of the greatest trading card forums online today, probably the best actually if you want my personal opinion.

Thanks for clearing up the fact that you don't use a shilling ebay account to bump up the final price once the listing ends. Please understand that there is nothing personal with the comments I made regarding your listings and purchases. You do extremely well compared to many other sellers on ebay and I guess this is totally understandable considering you did state you look after your customers, and a lot of times people are willing to bid that little bit higher when they know that the seller does his best to keep them happy.

In regards to me revealing the fact that it was you who bought the $3,000 listing of Michael Jordan cards, I can tell you right now that it was simply a case of knowing a bit of your reputation for selling great MJ cards and then concluded that it was you. How I figured that out was by seeing the the feedback score off the listing link that was posted, and then like I said because I knew you for selling Michael Jordan cards I simply looked at your ebay username and coincidently saw the feedback matching aswell the scrambled letters provided by ebay under the ended listing looked very similar to the username you have in place.

Thanks for introducing yourself thoroughly and all the best with your ebay listings and auctions. In my opinion you'd probably be the most succesful ebay seller in Australia to sell Michael Jordan cards, and achieve the highest possible final winning price.

Have a great night sir and maybe I can even buy off you sometime in the near future.

Regards,
Mike

Hani thanks for the kind words aswell from yourself. In regards to the "lingo", I can tell you now that there are a lot that you're going to need to remember (they're all fairly simple and easily used). I remember there was a thread where one guy actually asked for all the abbreviations and their meanings, can anybody help out and direct Hani to this thread I'm talking about? I would not have a clue as to which section on this great website I saw it, hence the reason I'm asking for guidance from any fellow ozcardtrader member's who can be of assistance.

Regards
